Iphone has stopped syncing
Yeah, that's definitely not supposed to happen and as far as I know iTunes still supports all iOS Devices.
Usually if your computer can read it since you said that you can access your photos this would mean your device and your computer are normal and the actual problem is likely involved in something with the itunes application somewhere. If it was your device and your computer then you wouldn't be able to access it from your computer drive for your pictures at all.
(1) First try disconnecting your iphone, closing itunes, restarting itunes, then reconnect your iphone.
(2) If that doesn't work then try rebooting your iphone device then reconnect it to your computer and itunes. It may help to reboot your computer as well. Sometimes the service process that itunes installs for connecting to your device might have an issue and therefore may stop or not be running so rebooting will refresh it.
(3) You can also check to make sure your device is still authorized or try reauthorizing it. This is done via the iTunes application menu.

Transferring contacts to new iPhone 3GS
The best way is to use iTunes or iCloud. Follow these steps to back up your previous device and then restore the backup to your newly purchased device. Your saved messages, email accounts, photos, notes, and other personal settings will be transferred to your new device.

Voice message icon showing but no message
You can contact orange and have them refresh your voice mailbox but if that doesn't work you can connect your phone to iTunes on a computer and restore the software. Set up as new and see if the issue persist. If it is fixed you can try to restore from your back up. If the issue comes back when you put your information on there, then you will need to set up as new
3G Iphone froze at Apple Screen, no way to restart it or sync it
I had the similar problem. Found this suggestion on the web to reset iPhone 3G to it's original settings. You may have to restore your media and data files after resetting. It's the only way out for me since I can't get beyond the "Apple Logo" thingy, and I am too lazy to bring it down to the Apple Store.
Try this:
1.) Shut down the iPhone 3G.
2.) Start up iTunes
3.) Hold down HOME button on the iPhone 3G
4.) While keeping the HOME button depressed, plug in the Sync cable
5.) A message will pop up to ask if you want to reset.
6.) Just click YES and the reset process should start.
Good luck.

How to restore iphone to factory settings?? I lost
To restore iPhone and reset the phone to default factory settings,
follow these steps:
- Turn off iPhone – Hold down the Sleep/Wake button
for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the red
slider. Ignore this step if your iPhone is already off.
- Press and hold down the Home button for about 10
seconds until a yellow triangle with a text which says Please
Connect to iTunes appears.
- Plug the iPhone into Mac or Windows PC. Release the button if you
haven’t.
- Run and open iTunes if it’s not already opened yet.
- iTunes will prompt a message that says iTunes has detected
an iPhone in recovery mode. Click OK.
- You will be taken to the iPhone pane. Then, click on Restore.
- Wait for the full restoration process to complete, and the iPhone
will be back to the original settings state as when it left the
manufacturing factory, typically a working phone again if you face any
problem, unless it’s hardware related.
