The unit fills with water and then drains

Try to clean the discharge pump filter first (Instructions in the Use/Care manual).

If the drain pump is working, it's most likely related to the pressure switch. Check out this posting:

That could be your trouble the washer has adjustable legs turn legs to adjust level. Also check the belt for worn out.

Have a new ge WCVH6800 front load washer. Power

Hello there and welcome to fixya You may want to try unplugging the machine for a minimum of 2 hours to let the internal cpu to reset itself then plug it back in then press the mode button then try to lock the door and it should be ok after that ok please inform me how this goes there is more we can do for this ok Best regards Michael

Why does myAmana 7300 front load washer door not open?

If the cycle is done, sounds like your door switch could be sticky,. If there is water in it, it will have to pump out the water to a certain level before the door will open, removal of the water would be your issue or the pressure level switch thinks is not drained out, in which would be a pressure switch.

Motor does not turn, but machine does all other functions

check the belt to see if it has snapped or come off, alternatively, if the appliance is between 3-5 years old it might be worth checking the brushes on the motor unfortunately in the UK we do not have this model

General Electric WCVH6800J gasket broken

not to hard to change first you need to get it out there is a spring holding it grab the bottom side of the gasket and you will feel the spring not to hard to doit take a picture or samething to remember how to put it back in make sure the drane hole goes on the bottom.
