Samsung WF328AA Front Load Washer - Page 2 Questions & Answers
Why is my washer saying low water pressure. How can I fix that without have someone come out to repair it
It depends on the cause of the water pressure issue. I'd first check your incoming water to the washer. Turn off the inlet shut-off valves and disconnect the hoses. Check the hose filters and the inlet valve filters. Remove any debris. Next put a large bucket under the shut-off valves and open them fully for a minute. Check how much water flows into the bucket. If very little water was in your bucket, you'll need to check where the restriction is in your water lines. (The water pressure needs to be sufficient to fill the washer in about 8 minutes. Depending on your home, you may need a professional to check the water at your water connection to the city or at your well pump.) Empty the bucket. Replace your inlet hoses at the valve side and repeat the test. If you are getting low water flow with the hoses in place, replace the hoses. Some hoses have a "anti-flood" feature which restricts the hose if there is a problem. (I've seen the hot water flow rate to the washer significantly decrease due to the hose blocking the flow. The cold water hose was replaced at the same time to avoid it failing in a short time.)
Next check that the drain hose isn't below the level of the water in the washer. This can cause siphoning and empties the washer as fast as it fills.
If the water pressure is still low after testing these items, the problem could be the inlet valves on the washer or the air pressure at sensor that detects the water flow. On some washers, you may be able to remove the debris in the air tube. However, if there is a pinhole, that part will need to be replaced.
I hope this helps.

SMALL LOCK APPEARS IN CONTROL BOX AND WONT ALOW
That lock icon indicates a locked door, and if you can open your door with it locked, your door lock will need to be reset. Your instruction manual should have your reset procedure listed in back. But if your door IS locked, you will need to manually drain out the water before it will open.
How do I know if my water pump is broken, or just plugged?
the water pump is easy to take out and clean. you have either a little door in the front or the panel in the back. Unplug the washer, turn water supply off. remove the panel and you will see the pump. 2 hoses are clipped into the pump. remove them ( catch water with towels or a bucket ) . The pump is bolted down. just remove the bolts and check the pump for obstructions. there are a few screws on the pump, open them and you can clean the pump out more. re-assemble and re-install. Pumps are usually hard to kill. check the hoses and make sure nothing is stuck in them. plug in washer and open water supply and put on spin. if it pumps then problem solved. if the pump still doesn't work, then it might be the control panel which is very easy to replace. I've done it all and I'm no expert. good luck
Instructions on changing water pump on a 1999 mercury mystique gs 2.0L
Well honestly I hope you're somewhat mechanical inclined...jack up car, remove right front wheel, remove inner wheel well, remove coolant overflow bottle, remove belt, remove harmonic balancer from crank, this allows access to remove pump, support front chassis with jacks,2, remove both front and rear chassis bolts, remove engine mount bolts, now the fun part, you have to jack body up SLOWLY, until you have room to remove pump from underneath the vehicle.if you have an engine cradle that would work out best.problem with this vehicle is there's no room, which im sure you already know.labor time for a shop to fo it is around 3 hrs plus parts...it can be done by D.I.Y but be careful and take your time. .im sure someone may chime in with an easier way, im just going by the book...good luck
Will not spin
first when the wash cycle is done does it pump out all the water? if it doesn't then you have a drain or pump problem. if it does pump out all the water then check the drive line to see that is in place.

I am getting a d5 error on my samsung front load washer
One common error with these machines Is that the water level sensor pipework has a small hole. The pipe is connected to the drum, and as the unit rotates it will cause the rubber tubing to be degraded. If a small tear appears it will cause the sensor to malfunction - when there is no negative pressure as the water drains (or vacuum) it assumes the water is still there/. Either find the tear and repair with bicyle repair kit, or if the tear is near to the sensor connector - cut off and reattach slightly shorter tube.
