Pause the video on a frame/image you want to copy. Press PRINTSCREEN on your keyboard. Open an image editor (eg. Paint, photoshop or any other) and paste the screen. Then crop just the image from the video player and save it as JPG image. Thats the way

i would recommend searching for and downloading VLC media player. It is free, has more options, and plays any video format as well as DVDs

OK, try this then
Put in a dvd again, when asked if you want it to open with Power DVD, press yes
When power dvd open, DONT press play, in the meny you will find the add button, press that one, and point it to the dvd, that will hoppfully mount the image to the power dvd since you told the program where the file is.

You know that power dvd dosent lay all formats right? so if it is a burned dvd you trying to play make sure that it is a format supported with power dvd

You should try to burn the .avi files through nero burner.
Nero 7 or 8 will do, but you'll be able to burn only 2-3 .avi files through nero.

You should still have the install saved on your system.. Cyberlink offers separate trial and full version and they use separate installers. The link dies on purpose so others can not use it to steal additional copies. It was your responsibility to save the installer so you can reinstall it at any time in the future. My version is much older so I can not tell you what file name to look for on your system.
