Panasonic ovherhead dvd audio with no video
Hi Will, I think I can help. I have a 2004 Cherolet Trailblazer that uses the same model DVD player for its overhead screen. But I had the opposite problem: my screen works fine but the DVD stopped working. So I purchased a replacement overhead DVD player; now I have the old screen that works fine (with the bad DVD player). I can either sell you the old screen that works or you can sell me your dvd player that works. You casn email me at

My Panasonic Strada CN-HDS620D Car radio/dvd only plays for 50 seconds then freezes for over 5 minutes. Buttons also freeze and it's in japanese. Kindly assist.
It seems like you're encountering some issues with your Panasonic Strada CN-HDS620D car radio/DVD player. The freezing and button unresponsiveness, along with the language being set to Japanese, can be frustrating. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the problem:
1. Reset the device: Look for a small reset button on the front panel or the side of the device. You can use a small pin or paperclip to press and hold the reset button for a few seconds. This will reset the device to its factory settings. Note that this will erase any customized settings or saved data.
2. Check the disc: Make sure the DVD disc you are using is clean and free from scratches or dirt. A damaged or dirty disc can cause playback issues. Try cleaning the disc gently with a soft, lint-free cloth and insert it again to see if the freezing issue persists.
3. Check the power supply: Ensure that the car radio/DVD player is receiving a stable power supply. Check the wiring and connections to make sure they are secure and not loose. If the power supply is unstable, it can cause the device to freeze or malfunction.
4. Language settings: If the device is set to Japanese and you're not familiar with the language, you can try changing the language settings. Look for an "Options" or "Settings" menu on the device's display. Navigate through the menus to find the language settings and change it to your preferred language.
If the above steps don't resolve the issue, it's recommended to consult the user manual for specific troubleshooting steps or contact Panasonic customer support for further assistance. They may be able to provide additional guidance or recommend a professional service center if needed.
I hope these suggestions help you resolve the freezing and language issue with your Panasonic Strada CN-HDS620D car radio/DVD player. Let me know if you have any further questions or need more assistance!
