It could be a dirty moisture sensor. If it can't sense the moisture from the clothes, it thinks that they are dry and ends the cycle.

Could be defective bulb or door switch

Either the dryer door has been mis-aligned somehow which isnt very likely or the dorr catch, which is two pieces, the metal pointed thing on the door and the slot it goes into has gotten weak and worn from normal wear and tear. your top door bearing and glides are worn out,remove 4 top control,panel torx screws,then open door and on the top of the door land are 2 screws holding the top panel,remove these,then push top to the left or right to remove from the catches at the back,then unplug door switch and light wires from door to unit on lower left side,lay door on smooth surface and un clip top door bearing,replace worn out bearing along with white and/or green glides,whatever unit calls for,some use only white and some use white and green glides

There is a teflon bearing that holds the back of the drum you will need to replace. To get to it remove the top cover, take off the control panel, remove the front cover, take off the belt, then take the drum out, ususlly by lifting it up as you pull it foward. While have it all apart I would reccomend replacing the teflon glides at the front that the drum rides on.
