Lamp replacement issue infocus in24+
either the lamp's seams aren't taped over with foil tape to prevent the premature shutdown due to the heat sensors being triggered, or the fan under the the colorwheel has stopped, maybe due to a piece of lamp from a previous lamp explosion being stuck in it, or the power supply/ballast is bad, or the eca on the engine itself is bad. The lamp is the easiest to try first. There should be foil tape over the seam on the side of the lamp you can't see when it is installed. If this doesn't work, take the front bezel off amd get where you can see the fan under the colorwheel and tunnel and power the unit up and see if the fan comes on. If it does thenthe eca on the engine or the power supply ballast is most likely bad and these are major repairs.

The lamp warrning light on my infocus in24+
Hello,
If you are able to measure/show any continuity whatsoever your bulb is way past bad!!
As these lamps do not have filaments.
If you have replaced the lamp you can easily reset the lamp timer from the projector menu.
This procedure can be found in the user manual as well.
Cheers

Infocus in2124/in2126 projector keeps turning itself on. When it does you can't turn it off with the remote. What could cause this?
There are a few possible causes for a projector like the Infocus IN2124/IN2126 turning itself on and not being able to be turned off with the remote:
1. Remote control issues: Firstly, it's worth checking the remote control itself. Ensure that the batteries are fresh and properly inserted. Try replacing the batteries or using a different remote control to see if the issue persists.
2. Signal interference: Sometimes, external factors can interfere with the projector's remote control signal. Check if there are any sources of interference nearby, such as other electronic devices or strong light sources. Move these items away from the projector to see if it resolves the problem.
3. Faulty power button or control board: It's possible that the power button on the projector or the control board itself is malfunctioning. If the power button is not responding when pressed, it could indicate a hardware issue. In such cases, contacting Infocus customer support or a professional technician for further assistance or repairs may be necessary.
4. Firmware or software issue: Occasionally, a software or firmware glitch can cause unexpected behavior in electronic devices. Check if there are any firmware updates available for your projector model on the Infocus website. Updating the firmware can potentially resolve any known issues and improve overall performance.
5. Power supply issues: In some cases, fluctuations or problems with the power supply can cause erratic behavior in electronic devices. Ensure that the projector is connected to a stable and properly grounded power source. Consider trying a different power outlet or using a voltage stabilizer to rule out any power-related issues.
If the issue persists after trying these steps, it is recommended to reach out to Infocus customer support or consult a professional technician with expertise in projector repairs. They will be able to provide more specific guidance and troubleshooting steps based on your particular projector model.
