My bulb seems to go on overheat and the picture
Well, I'm having the same issue and I just replaced my bulb. What the manual says is it is getting too hot (obviously). Make sure nothing is blocking your air vents both in and out on the projector. The manual suggests using a vacuum to **** out the dust but I imagine that wouldn't help much. Taking it apart might be a good idea to get a full clean out. If you've cleaned it and the vents are clean and it still clicks off for temp reasons there could be a fan malfunction. Replace it if it's not working. If it is working you can turn the fan speed up in your options and this should help. It is recommended in the manual if you're above 1500ft. The only other thing it could be is faulty electronics, and in that case I'm not sure what you could do. Goodluck! Fred
When I try to turn on the lamp I get one beep and
Hello,
Make sure the outlet in which the projector is connected
has power, and that the projection lamp is good. Some projectors also
have "indicator" or "status" LED lights on the control panel. If
this light is on or flashing please refer to your owner's manual
for solutions and explanations.
Note, Average lamp hours range from 1,500 to 2,000 hours although new lamp
technology promises 6,000 hours. The lamp life of different projectors
varies. Most projectors use a lamp hour counter to track the number of
hours of lamp use. Check the projector's on-screen menu to determine the
number of lamp hours used. After so many hours of use, the lamp life
LED on the projector illuminates or the projector simply will not ignite
the lamp, indicating that the lamp should be replaced.
Take care.
