When i play movie i
in order for you to see movie or vedeo you need to connect pink or bronw wire to ground witch that allow to see inmage.
My subwoofer won't play while watching a movie or
it sounds like the "remote wire" on the amp is coming from the "power antenna" output of the radio instead of the "remote turn-on" wire or in the case of kenwood, the "power cont." wire. Sounds like that's whats happening.... switch the wires on the kvt-512, should be a blue wire and a blue/white wire. hope that helps, dave
I cannot find the brake wire on the unit, what
There should be a wiring diagram on the top side of the stereo. Normally the brake and reverse wires are separated from the other wires so it should they stand out. On my stereo. One was pink the other light brown.

try checking your speaker wires for shorts and bare spots. also check to make sure you have no shorted or bad speakers. if they all check out good, you may have a bad output ic.

usually these types of gadgets are blocked by the anti-virus or firewalls... So disable anti-virus program and any personal firewalls if any.... and connect the again,,.,..
And also ensure that the USB cable as well as usb port is working well.. also enable synchronization from your gadget...

Check the documents that were given to you by the dealer of the other car and look for a card that contains the code. If you could not find any code, get the serial number (usually located underneath) and then contact either the dealer or the manufacturer of the other car where the Kenwood was originally placed. Either the dealer or manufacturer could give you the code.
The code that you need is also called the "anti-theft" code and it's unique with every car radios and DVD receivers. So only the manufacturer could give you the code that you need. It's designed this way so that the appliance would be useless once stolen.
