Westinghouse 32" Flat Panel LCD HDTV - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
I lost my cord in moving. It's a tw-61101-ko26b. 6110y0220419. I thing it's a 23in.
Best buy is the only place I know of that has the compact round/round or round/square 110v replacement cords. I got one they were stocked in 2 different places, no one knew what the were or where they were. Look up the stock number on line before you go there and have them search the store. It might take an hour but they'll find it. Good luck.
What to do when there is no power ?
Take off the back of the TV and locate the power supply board. It's the one that connects to the power cord. There will be one or more fuses on it. check continuity on them all because sometimes a bad fuse isn't always obvious.
I am shipping my tv to my new location,
Which model TV do you have? The TVs in the LD-325 line are 14.55 pounds with the stand, but is 13.45 lbs without. If you have the original shipping container and all the accessories, the LD-3255VX weighed 21.83 lbs. The LD-3255AR is 23.2 lbs in the box.The EW32S3PW with the stand is 15 pounds and 1.5 pounds lighter without the stand. The older model SK-32H640G is 23.9 pounds with the stand. Removing the stand takes 1.4 lbs off the TV weight. When in the original box with accessories, the TV weighed 27.0 pounds. There are a number of other models, so please add a comment with the model number and if the stand and accessories are going to be in the same box. I hope this gives you some help.Cindy Wells

Hi,
Please let me know the exact model no. of your unit, it will help diagnose where the fault came from.
Also, confirm first the status of the signal from your cable provider, try to hook up the cable wire to another TV to determine if the signal is not the issue here.

Good day!!!
please try to unplug your TV at least 30 minutes to discharge all stored voltage....
Normally if the TV logo appear and the background is white or sometimes blue the TV is on the standby mode...it only need to reset..
I have my blue power
If you cannot get picture or sound with any video sources, I.E. DVD, XBOX, etc., then it is not the cable problem.
Most failure in TV's are due to bad power supply caused by bad caps, blown components.
So the power supply module will be the first palce to look, right now the standby 5vdc is working but not the 12vdc (for sound) or the 24vdc for the backlights inverter boards. it can also be due to the main board is not sending the PS_ON (Power Supply_ON) signal to the power supply module.

Hi, Check that the plug has power. Use a light to do this. Also check the TV cord maybe bad.
Check breaker pannel. Make absolute sure that you have power getting to the TV. If all is good you need a repairman. Good luck
Sound but the screen on
By "sound but the screen on my westinghouse 32 inch flat screen is solid lime green" Do you mean that you have sound but the screen is green? If yes it means that an analog signal is being fed to a digital input. Did you recently change the input cables at the back from one port to another? If not then please describe what are colors of the cabels you are using(Yellow, Red, White or Red Blue Gren etc.,) and what port they are connected to so that I can tell you whether its a problem with the connections or the tv itself.
Hooked up to a Directv
No pictures on ALL mode? DVD, DIRECT TV, etc? How about using the component video output or composite video out put of the Direct TV?

If it is TV problem, then please try this:
First, look at the screen in darkened room to see if you can see any slight glow from the screen, if it does, then the problem can be the T-CON (not getting the 12vdc) or the main logic board not feeding the signals to the T-CON board.
if not, next place to check will be the power supply module, make sure it has 24vdc which is required by the backlight inverter to work, the reason for not having 24vdc can be from bad DC filter caps (leaking/bulging top, high ESR) or short circuits in the inverter board which will cause the 24vdc supply to go into shutdown mode, so you may have to disconnect the power cable that feed the inverter board to see if the 24vdc will work without the inverter board hookup, you will need to apply about 3~4 amp of load to the 24vdc to make sure it can handle that. There are fuses on the backlight inverter boards also. So there is some troubleshooting you will have to do to find out the causes of the problem you are having.

No picture sound only, blue light stays on
0ne of 3 has failed:
(in order of probability):
1. Backlight inverter
2. Power Supply
3. Backlight
