Not sure if you can see this, but I have a KDL46XBR5 and this is the self diagnostic function listed in the service manual. Six red blinking lights, pause, six more lights may indicate a faulty backlight or a problem related to your backlight. This doesn't necessarily mean you have to replace anything, could be a ground screw is loose, or one of the many cable connectors need to be reseated while the unit is off. See attached to see if this helps. If not, google "self diagnostic function kdl-37m4000" and see if that helps. At least this should point you in the right direction

try to play first dvd on you tv on test if the tv has a problem or on just on you digital/analog antenna..If the problem is still there when you play dvd the possible prob is T-con board..hope it helps..please rate..

The only fix is to replace the panel and that would not be cost effective. It would be cheaper to buy a new TV.

First you will have to trouble shoot to determine if it's the power supply or the inverter board.

This problem lies in your cable remote. Try pressing the satellite or cable button on the remote given to you from your provider and try to bring up the guide again. If it doesn't work, contact tech support from your provider and have them walk you through configuring the remote.

On your Sony TV remote, press the "Input" button and make sure you select HDMI 1. Also, check to make sure you HDMI is plugged into your cable box.

Make sure you change the input that the cable is coming in on, If you was watching in HD mode then you was using an HDMI or compontet hook up.Look on tv remote for Video input button to select the componet input 1 or 2 or HDMI inputs which it is connected to. PAL will not work in the US or Canada.Only NTSC work with these countries.Check if u have the PAL/NTSC option in ur menu.

Get a digital antena,If u using the signal over the air,rescan.If the signal is cable or other pay tv signal.Ur digital turner,it damage.

Check if all the PCB board intack.Might worth repairing.

Change the box it will solve the problem.
