Lg 32in tv from 2007 wont come on ,only after sitting for 45 minutes and turning it on and off will it come on

Fairly well documented issue. It is called a Thermal Shutdown. Very little to do at this point, There were service bulletins issued if you sent in your warranty card and kept your address current with LG. As I mentioned at this point not much to do about the problem. The warranty is long expired and the repair is more than a new 32" TV

Lg 32in tv from 2007 wont come on ,only after sitting for 45 minutes and tuening it on and off will it come on

The fact that it comes on at all is a good sign. Due to how long you've had it, my first suspicion is to check the capacitor in the power supply of the set. Over time, the capacitors will dry out. You'll need to remove the back and look at the power supply for bulging capacitors. If you haven't had much experience with electronics before, here's a few tips. Always have the power cord unplugged before opening up a TV... The power supply is the first board that is connected to the power cord. The capacitors on the power supply board look like miniature soup cans and the tops of them should be perfectly flat. Some capacitors have a small x on the top, this is to allow expansion as the capacitor fails. Look at the top of the capacitors to see if you can see bulges in the top, those would be the first ones to suspect are bad.

Why isnt my tv working cause i have took it to ary

Fault with the main power supply regulator board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.

So the power light on the LG tv is blinking yellow real fast but the tv turns and stays on...is it just a warning or what?

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Blinking codes details to many popular brand TVs are given. Tap on the screen with your finger end not to hard when the T.V. is on. If you see a white light flash, it means that the neon work, the backlight. So you should check your main board or your t-con board or a trouble in the power supply. Ask a technicien near you to check it. I would but i live to far. Best of Luck. Serge Lavallee.
