Thanks for using FixYa. Please check the audio with a cable box. Also try using component cables if using a RCA component cable or vice versa. Check that all of the cables are plugged into the back of the TV & MUTE button is not pressed. Do a hard reset by unplugging the power cord for more than 4 hours and power it again, then go into the on-screen-menu and make sure the sap is off and stereo in on. Also try audio from Phone and 3.5mm jacks (if equipped). If this all didn't resolves the issue then it is an Audio IC or bad speakers/speaker connection. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved else post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks for using FixYa. It seems that you'll need to replace the screen completely however, replacing the screen will cost you same as buying a new TV so I'll anyways not recommend you to get it replaced. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

This is the best solution for your problem as a 40 year experience with wires etc. Go to the source of your cable signal connector . Open it and clean the terminals with emery paper , sand the end of the cable shiny clean from corrosion , get a new barrel connectors with gold terminals if possible lengthen the ends of the cable , insert and tighten good, use thick rg-16 or rg 40 cable with good insulation ends crimped professionally with a crimpier or buy ready made , not from dollar store. Get a gold plated professional splitter if you need one or two , it will cost about 15 or more each . Make the cable runs as short as possible, using the thick good cables. If needed get a signal magnifier. From radio shack or the source etc. Connect them good and tight . Ground the splitters . Problem solved , you will get crystal clear channel 2 to 7 including 3 and 4 . Isolate the TV cable from other cables and power wires. Vitally

Hello, try pressing menu, then select the audio/sound option, this will give you the scroll down list for sound mode, reset, treble etc. punch in reset(factory settings) If this doesn't do it keep scrolling down to speaker and select "on" If this does not work you'll need to have the TV inspected, but before you do make sure the cable/sat feed is not muted or lost it's sound(try it on another TV).

That is likely a bad a power supply aka high-voltage converter.
I do recommend testing or having it tested to make sure. This is done with a voltmeter. Many of these units also use relays in them which act as switches to turn on and off components of the set. These also can go bad and would need to be tested with an ohmmeter. An oscilloscope is a great tool in diagnosing electronical problems.

Could be the decoder:

1. unplug the TV ans wait a few mins.
2. If you have digital cable box or dish tuner reboot those as well (likely your issue)

What you have is artifacting what that means is tiling garbiling and freezing this happends when the data in the digital stream just stopped hence Frozen.

Try those things rule out your cable tv box first or your sat box, if this is OTA over the air your antenna.

1. Try DVD's if it happends during a DVD you do have a decoder issue if it does not you need to talk to your cable tv or sat operator.

So you got 3 possiabilites here 1. the worse Decoder, 2 cable company or satalite provider, 3 your antenna is in the wroung position.

I sure this will help.

There is a problem with the processor. The only way to resolve this issue is to replace the main board. It is called the A board in your TV.

There are two for this model and the correct one will depend on what your serial number is.

1,804,271 - 1,818,372
1,818,373 - 1,830,000
list price: $504.87 core charge: $680.00

part # 185709231 for all other serial numbers
list price: $505.87 core charge: $600.00
