hi look for any swollen capacitors, also plasma's do suffer from poor solder joints on the power board, so check for any rings around the solder pads, test the voltages on the white connectors with a meter the voltages will be written along the connector,thanks shaun

This is a power supply issue - found a company that has used power supplies, they sell them for $60.00. We recommend a professional install the board because the voltage needs to be adjusted after the install or you could damage something else. The high voltage in the set can KILL you soe be very careful. The web address for the PS board is plasmafix.com.

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit stage inside it. hi your tv may be set up on eco mode, there is a light sensor built into your tv this detects the room light and adjust the picture to suit the light hope it helps regards shaun
