Which email account ? Bill,If you havent just replaced your hard drive or formatted it, try restoring from the restore partition. I have a newer ASUS netbook, so yours i believe should restore by rebooting the laptop and repeatedly pressing the F9 key. Do not hold down the F9 key, just keep tapping it when it starts up.Follow prompts to restore your laptop to its original configuration when you first purchased it. Make sure to back up all your data, as it will be lost along with all programs and updates that have been installed since day 1.If you have replaced the laptop or formatted it, then youll need to either attach a USB CD/DVD ROM drive or use a USB Flash drive. One more thing you could try is taking the battery out for a minute or two, because the Eee uses the atom it has a fairly complex onboard power controller that can overclock / underclock the cpu. Sometimes this gets malfunctions and locks the PC up, the quickest way to fix it is to simply pull the battery for a short while and stick it back in. You may well have already tried this, but it'll be the first port of call.
