Your machine is rebooting itself while you watch a movie on it? Could be a couple of things. First, is this a laptop or desktop? When is the last time you updated your video drivers? If this is a laptop, does it get very hot just before rebooting?Theories work like so: 1. older video drivers can be causing a cpu panic condition due to a bug. This is more common with PC games vs. watching movies, but still possible. Updating your video drivers may help fix the problem if that's the cause.2. heat: if the computer overheats, it will reboot to protect itself. As for why it's getting hot--could be that your video hardware or cpu is getting too hot playing the movie. Could be that your cooling fans are bad. The usual method of resetting any BIOS is to remove the backup CMOS battery (usually a Lithium coin cell) and then short the terminals for a while (e.g. a minute) with a wire.
