Manual sometimes for sale with the keyboard on ebay and other sites, but I have searched and not seen the manual by itself. Perhaps you could email several vendors of it to offer to purchase only a copy of the manual. Your particular Hummingbird series were made between 1969 and 1973. I've managed to trace your serial number to a batch made in 1971.

Assuming you are using the Yamaha power adaptor you need to try and fault trace. Is there power from the adaptor? If you have any other products that use the same power adaptor or have access to a digital multimeter measure the voltage. If this is correct move on . When you plug the power to the DTX express, does the socket feel loose? If so the socket solder joint have failed - a fairly common fault Replace the socket ( this will require soldering ) If you still have a problem then the fault lies within the command unit and will probably need further specialist testing.
