I have an SCH-U450 and had the same annoying AA on my nice wallpaper picture.
Although it doesn't appear in the icon library, apparently, it's for Auto Answer. As soon as I turned that off, it went away.
In my phone to to, Menu > Settings & Tools > Call Settings > Answer Options, and make sure Auto w/ Handsfree checkbox is UNchecked (unless, of course, you want it on, in which case, I guess you're stuck with the AA in the middle of your nice wallpaper picture).
As for the audio announcement, mine was set when I got it to yell out the name of the contact for messages and calls. Try Menu > Settings & Tools > Sound Settings > Call Sounds > Call Alert, then choose Ring Only, or others as appropriate.
Type in #7465625*638*Unlock code# (8 digit unlock code*)

The 8 digit code can be obtained by calling AT&T Technical Support and given the representative the IMEI number. In exchange they will give you the Subsidy Unlock Code.

Fully charge the battery to maximize playing time. However, it
is not necessary to fully charge or completely discharge the battery
each time. You can charge the battery by connecting the jukebox either
to the AC power adapter (fastest) or to a USB port on the computer. The
battery icon in the upper right corner of the screen indicates the
remaining battery charge.
Connect the USB combo cable to the AC power adapter,
and then plug the power adapter into an AC power outlet. Or, you can
connect the USB combo cable to a USB port on the computer.
Plug the combo cable into the jukebox. Make sure that the
top of the plug (the side with the arrows) is facing the same direction
as the front of the jukebox.

If you are charging your jukebox from the computer's USB
cable, turn your jukebox off. If your jukebox is on, it cannot charge
from the computer's USB cable.
Note: If you are charging your jukebox
from the AC power adapter, you can leave your jukebox on as it charges,
but it will take longer to charge.
If the jukebox is on, the power cord icon appears in the
upper right corner of the display. The keypad's backlight turns on while
the battery charges, and then turns off when the battery is fully
charged.
When your jukebox battery is finished charging, pinch the
two side buttons on the plug, and then pull the plug out of the jukebox.
Hi,
You may contact to your service provider Samsung SCH-U470 Unlock Code, they can open up all networks for you where you want to use your phone. Once your phone is unlock, it will work with any networks worldwide without sticking to one network only. I suggest to visit Samsung Unlock Code site, they will provide an accurate code with easy to follow instructions on how to unlock your phone.
Hope it helps.
Thanks.
Hi,
Welcome to Fixya. Basically to be able to able to access the contacts on the old phone and transfer it to the new phone using a computer it needs to be detected by the computer and it should be on. The work around here is to do a power drain the phone by removing the battery and charge it afterwards. If still won't open perhaps this is a hardware problem of the phone and if you can open it there's no way we can transfer the contact.
Thanks
1. Go to the menu 2. Go to Settings & Tools 3. Hit the # key 4. Type in six 0's 5. Go to "MTP Setting" 6. Your setting is on MSM for some reason. Change it to MTP and viola!
I called tech support and they didn't really do anything except point me in the right direction, but I finally figured it out.
Hi,Let me give you a little background and then some solutions. This is generic because I don't know your carrier. I've used ATT as an example.Phones are naturally unlocked, but a service provider might lock themWhen originally manufactured, all GSM cell phones are unlocked. That is, they can be used with any SIM from any cellphone service provider - always assuming, of course, that the cellphone service provider has compatible GSM service on the same frequency bands that the phone can operate on.Most cell phone service providers electronically 'lock' the phone so that it can only be used with their service. There are obvious reasons why they choose to do this - in particular, to force you to pay what are usually very high roaming charges when you take your phone out of their network and use it elsewhere in the world.Fortunately, this locking is reversible. With some phones, it is possible to simply enter an unlocking password code into the phone and it is immediately then unlocked. Other phones need to be connected up to a special unlocking data terminal.Your phone has to be unlocked by the carrier. LG, Motorala, Sony Ericsson, Nokia and most of their ilk, will not give consumers the unlock codes but don't despair.A PUK (PIN Unlock Key) code is required to unlock SIM cards that have become locked following three successive incorrect PIN entries. If your SIM card becomes locked, you will need to get a PUK code from your carrier. For example, if you have AT&T to unlock your SIM card, you can obtain your phone's PUK code from AT&T by:● logging in to your myWireless Account online● using their Technical Support Chat● calling Customer Care at 1-800-331-0500To get your phone's PUK code online from ATT:● Log in to your myWireless Account.● Select My Services under My Account.● From the My Services screen, select My Phone/Device. ● Select Unblock SIM Card.● The Unblock SIM screen will display your PUK code. Once you receive your PUK code, you will need to enter it into your phone to set a new PIN code. Note: If you enter the wrong ATT PUK code 10 times in a row, your SIM card will be invalidated, and you will need to purchase a new SIM Card. The phone will display the following error: "PUK blocked call operator." There are three other ways to unlock a phone:● The carrier will unlock the phone for you at one of its retail outlets;● You can do it yourself by clicking on this link Free Unlock Codes ,● Pay $3.89 at the following website: www.theunlockshack.com/.I trust that this is helpful and solves your problem. All the best
This would mean that the phone has NOT been activated. Did the phone come with a book? If not take to where you bought it from,if you can not do that then take it to the cellular company it is under like att,ect
