I need to download pictures from my camera to my

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

In a pinch, if you've previously installed the appropriate driver, you can use Picasa and the USB cable instead of a card reader.

Cant use as it says

Look at your memory card. SD and SDHC cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

How can i transfer my

Welcome to FixYa.

One possible reason is that your memory card is not yet formatted for camera use.
Image or recoridng will be automatically be saved in your memory card, if card is inserted. If not, it will be saved on your internal memory.

Second reason is it is in write protection. The SD/SDHC memory card has a write protect switch that prevents image files from being deleted or formatted. By sliding the switch to the bottom of the memory card, the data will be protected. By sliding the switch to the top of the memory card, the data protection will be cancelled

Before taking pictures you have to slide the switch to the top of the memory card.

Please let me know if you have any questions and if this solution was helpful.

Thank you for using FixYa.

Whenever I film movies on

first of all , get the latest support software and drivers for your gadget / camera from the company website . log on to the company support or downloads page , find your model and download all what the website offers . esp download where it says " camera suite " or " drivers " or any thing related to the concerned camera . download it , install it , restart your pc , connect the camera to the pc and then turn it on . and see .
remember to uninstall any previous support softwares you have already installed , before installing the new one .
if you cannot find any support on the website , try installing the camera suite from a CD which came along with the product . after uninstalling the previous version .
if still you cannot find any support software for the camera , just connect the camera to the computer and go to this path --- start > my computer > ( right click on my computer ) > manage > in the window that opens , click on device manager > look for your connected camera ( it will be shown as a connected hardware )> double click where it mentions your camera > click on update drivers > click on , let windows search for the best driver .
and now wait ,,, the windows will automatically search for the best drivers for your hardware and install them .

sometimes , the problem lies in the Codecs required for the files to run . especially because , the video files recorded by camera are in some formats which are not easily recognized by windows on default. for this yoy have to install a codes package on your pc . download and install -- Sharks codecs pack or k-Lite codecs pack on your machine . google them , they are quite famous and safe and malware free . download the one for your version of OS , i.e. XP or Vista or 7 and whether it is a 32bit or 64 but system .
they are safe and will not harm your pc .
restart your system after installing them , connect your camera and then see ..
hope it helps ....

My pictures are coming out blurry and i didnt drop

Make sure that the camera is set to auto-focus. It is possible that the camera was put on manual focus and now each picture is taken out of focus resulting in blurry pictures. This setting shuld be found in the menu settings or on the back of the camera. Check in the menu options first. Let me know if this does not work. Thanks!
