My friend dropped my nikon d3000 on the floor at

The symptoms you describe make it sound like it will not be worth the cost of a rush repair. Because these 18-55 were shipped as part of millions of Nikon cameras they are cheap and easy to come by in camera store and pawn shops.

"I dropped my Nikon D3000 and now when I take a photo the shutter clicks twice very slowly and then the picture comes out blurry. What is wrong and what can I do to fix it?"

By virtue of the fact that you are asking this question, I must assume that you are not a qualified camera repair man. Unfortunately, the problem you described is not something you should attempt to repair yourself. It is very likely that your camera has multiple problems. It will cost you less to either send it to Nikon's repair depot or to a camera repair man. If you try to repair it yourself, there is a good chance you will only succeed in doing more damage and increasing your repair cost.

Nikon D-300

I bought the first D-300 and I love it except for one thing. Sometimes when I take continues shoots the camera will freeze and will not execute the picture. The trick is to slightly move the focus of the lens and the camera for some reason will operate again. I have talked to several experts and they say that this is just part of the camera for what ever reason. Regardless I truly enjoyed all of my SLR and have fun with it. Going digital has been great! Good Luck

My d300 has a blueish contrast in all non flash

Here are the possible causes and the solutions for each:

Cause 1: The most common cause of the tint in the images is White Balance. It is possible that you have set the wrong White Balance. Since you are getting a blue tint, you might have set the white balance to 'Incandescent' (Tungsten) or 'Flash'. Changing the white balance to Auto. Most White Balance problems get eliminated by this. For this, press WB on the mode dial and use the command dial to change the values.

Cause 2: The unwanted casts could also be due to the in-camera processing. To check this, Select 'Set Picture Controls' from the Shooting menu. From the four options, select one that gives the minimum processing-- that is, either Neutral (which gives minimal processing) or Standard (It gives slight enhancements, but the tones will be balanced).

Cause 3: It is also possible that the White Balance of your camera has been tweaked. So if the above steps do not solve the issue, try tweaking the white balance to your liking. For this, press WB and use the sub command dial (the dial in front of the camera near the Shutter Release button). Check the result each time you change the value until you are satisfied with the result. As a guide, the ideal values of different settings are: Daylight (direct sunlight): 5200; Incandescent: 3000; Flash: 5400; Cloudy: 6000; Shade: 8000 etc...

My 1 year old Nikon D7200 camera will not take a clear picture of Christmas lights unless I put it in mirror up position. .. why

By not clear do you mean out of focus or streaked due to movement? Try using a higher ISO setting in order to allow for a faster shutter speed and/or use a tripod.
