I have a Panasonic SDR-H60P hard disk video camera
Unfortunately, the camera won't let you transfer anything if it's not on AC power. You'll have to buy a replacement cable in order to transfer the video, unless you saved it on the SD card and not the internal hard drive. If you saved your video to the SD card, you can just remove the card and copy it to any computer that has a card reader.

How can I download videos from the camera onto my computer
hi, if you have a camera to usb lead, plug it in, switch on the camera, windows will automatically open auto play, when this opens select what you want, eg import pictures and video's, you will then see another box open and you need click import. Thats it

Lost data :
use a data recovery program, and be sure to not take any pictures or video or add files until l you recover your lost data, there are several programs available, some even have free trials, if you have problems finding one let me know and Ill see if I can attach a program or upload one for you.
