They are all compatible. Make sure the port on the keyboard is the same size as the plug on the pedal, usually a phono plug. Also make sure it is a sustain pedal and not an "on off " switch.

Unfortunately, the SP33 pedal will not work with the PX-830BP. Casio lists that the SP33 will only work with the PX-150BK, PX-150WE, PX-160BK, PX-160GD, PX-350BK, PX-350WE, PX- 360, and PX-560 keyboards. The PX-830 manual does not list the stand or the pedal unit as separate items if you need to replace them. The pedal unit has 3 pedals like a traditional piano. I wish that I had better news for you. These pads can be replaced ( providing Casio still have spare parts ) There are a lot of screws to undo to get inside the keyboard, then remove any PCB above the pad, replace and reassemble. or Contact your nearest Casio service centre

get a new power supply or switch

ALWAYS start with the "easy" things 1st. Is the AC outlet on the wall working properly? Is the "wall-wart" power supply working correctly? If no defect is found, check the DC power jack located on the rear of the keyboard. Does it seem to be loose or does moving the power supply jack up/down cause any change? New wall-wart power supplies can be purchased from Radio Shack and usually at a lower price than the original factory replacements.

At this point, you need to take it to the shop. There are too many possibilities to get it figured out without it being in hand.

It's doubtful it's a problem that a reset would help. It sounds more like a problem with the contact on that specific key. I suggest taking it to the repair shop.

Rust is an indication that the unit has water or moisture damage. The keyboard should power up using batteries or the adapter. Is the adapter is one supplied by Casio? Perhaps the batteries were/are put in the unit in the wrong direction or polarity? Take the batteries out completely and then try the power adapter. If this fails, I suggest returning the Casio for a replacement.

I would check your fingering... You MAY be late in hitting a particular note and the using auto chord... this can cause the problem. Another thing is if notes are hit with different velocity that can affect the sound. Sometimes certain voices have VELOCITY switching which actually changes the voice depending on the velocity you hit a note.

Need to know more details about the problem: What is it doing (or not doing) that needs fixed? When did it start? How long has it been doing (or not doing) the problem? What were the circumstances of how the problem started? And, probably one of the more important details, is it still under warranty? Need more info, please.

Also, in addition to more info I need; look on p 91 of the online owner's manual linked below. Pay attention to Sounds and Effects, the first section therein.
