Nyko Charge Station for Nintendo Wii Questions & Answers
Battery Not Charging
I had this same problem and searched on the web for answers.... I could not find an answer; just complaints. I tried something that solved the problem! I noticed a greenish buildup on one of the three metal contacts on the battery. I wiped the green stuff off then the battery charged as normal.
The problem I was having (to ensure we have the same problem) was that the wii indicated the battery was out of power. I would put the remote in the charger and the indicator light would turn blue to show it was charging. A few seconds later the light would turn green to indicate it was done charging and was full. However, the battery was still empty. This would occur even if I left the remote in the charge overnight.
With the fix I listed above, the batteries now work as normal!
What does flashing red light
Make sure that when charging the battery pack it must be attached to a
wii-mote otherwise this may cause a flashing red light.
If the battery pack is attached to the wii-mote and you still have a flashing red light this may indicate that there could a problem with the battery pack itself.
My wii remote charger keeps
@VentureForthYou're an idiot. The flashing red light is ON HIS CHARGER FOR HIS WIIMOTES. So why the hell would it be a sync issue with the wiimotes and the wii console? READ the WHOLE question before making yourself look stupid.
My WII remote flashes and does not work
that means it has to be synced into the base. It is not connected you see. You have to press the sync button on the wii and on the remote so that they recognise each other.
What to i need to do when the wii charger is green
If your controller is still sat in the charger then that is fine when the green light is on. The chargers have what is called smart charge technology. This means that when the controllers reach full battery capacity the charger stops sending charge to the controller until it drops below a certain charge level again. Leaving the remotes in the charger when the green light is on will not damage them in any way at all.
Hope this helps
Light is blue
It is supposed to be blue initially. That indicates it is charging.
When it switches to green - the controllers are fully charged.

WII Recharger station not working
This may sound silly, but did you remove the silicone sleeve AND the tether strap from your Wiimote before inserting into the charge stand?
If so, I suggest returning the unit for a refund and purchasing a 15-minute charger and 4 more NiMH rechargeable batteries than what you have units for.
