Samsung SyncMaster T200 LCD Monitor Questions & Answers
I want to ask how to open case on SyncMaster
Its sitting around snapped first remove the hoof and look for some screws to find open with a putty knife or very flat tool, but beware the cap has tabs that must be slowly loosened otherwise they will break.

Hello. I have a samsung
Either your PC video card has fried or it is in fact the monitor that is malfunctioning. Try plugging another monitor into the PC to test which is the problem. If the test monitor still doesn't display your desktop then it is indeed a problem with your system and not the monitor. In this case you will need to have a techinition assess the damaged components. If you can faintly see your desktop in the background then it may be a backlighting issue with your monitor. ''not optimum mode'' icon continues to show
this is not the problem with your monitor. Pl boot your computer with enable vga mode. in vga mode set your resolution into 1680 x 1050 with which color mode you need set ok
it will be ok. After restart, your computer will ok. even the problem retains, pl reinstall the video driver and try again. give me ur feedback

I have the proper driver installed but the monitor
Connect the monitor to a different desktop/laptop, to prove that it is capable of working, at least some of the time.

My monitor is hooked up properly but for some
The function keys across the top when the computer is "firing up" will trip the very base level of the computer operating system. Suspect the correct driver is missing, thus if you can reset it here, you will be able to see enough to get on the web. On the web search for drivers, or go straight to Samsung and download and install the proper driver, than reboot.
