When I turn on my

Okay, there are a few possibilities and things to check out if you haven't already found a solution to this problem.
First, it sounds like you've turned off the display by hitting the button. Page 42 of the manual describes hitting the , which toggles the display between being off and on. So, try hitting that button and see if that fixes your problem.

One other thing to check out is the LCD Monitor Off/On setting, which is described on page 115 of the manual. If you're still having problems with your display after toggling the button then check this setting and make sure that it is on the [Shutter btn.] option.

Finally, it's possible that one of the custom functions is affecting the behavior of the display. To get to the custom functions just hit then use the arrow buttons to select [Custom Functions (C. Fn)] under the second to last menu item along the top, as shown in the next picture from page 152 of the manual.

From there choose C.Fn-11 for "LCD display when power ON" and make sure it is set to 0: Display, which will turn the display on when the camera is turned on, instead of 1: Retain power OFF status, which will keep the display off when the camera is turned on.
Since it's been a while I imagine you may have already solved this issue, but if not, then I hope these troubleshooting tips will solve your problem.
Good luck and have fun. :)

Hello, my Canon 1000d

This sounds like a flash configuration issue combined with the continuous shooting mode, which will take 3 pictures in rapid succession and display "busy" while the flash is recycling. For starters, switch it back to single shot mode. That's the button that looks like the stack of pages and the timer clock. Then turn off the flash. That's the icon with the flash lightning image with the bar through it.
You will probably need to adjust your ISO, shutter speed, and aperture setting to get a good low-light shot.

Hope this helps!

I have Rebel camera.

The maximum aperture is determined by the lens. At 55mm, the 18-55mm lens will not open up beyond f/5.6. This has nothing to do with the ISO or the camera's exposure mode. If you zoom out to 18mm, you can open up to f/3.5.

The varying of the aperture with the focal length is part of the design. While it is possible to build a lens with the same maximum aperture throughout its entire zoom range, that would result in a larger and more expensive lens. For example, Canon has a 17-40mm f/4 lens. That lens weight two-and-a-half times as much and costs more than four times as much as the 18-55mm.

When I press button to take picture iot does not

First, make sure your camera's firmware is fully updated through the official Canon website. Also make sure your memory card is formatted. Try taking a photo. If it still isn't working, then move to the next step...

Step two, try using another lens. If you go to any camera shop, they should have lenses you can try using for free. If the camera still won't take photos using another lens, then it is most likely a mechanical problem with the shutter button itself and should be taken to a Canon certified repair shop.

When i insert my memory

Look at your memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.

Woody,

The flash card may be corrupt. You should be able to verify this by trying to download the pictures using a card reader instead of the camera.

Thank you.

I am using Canon 1000D dslr for more than

The autofocus motor could be be broken, or the lens may not be communicating correctly with the camera. One thing that can help if it's not communicating correctly is to clean the lens contacts. If you take the lens off, you should see some gold plating on the plastic on the side of the lens that attaches to the camera. You can clean it by lighting rubbing it with a new, CLEAN pencil eraser. if that doesn't work, you may need a new lens unfortunately. best of luck!

I was using my camera

The kit lens that came with your camera is quite cheap. Around £50.
Look for a replacement as it sounds like it is mis-alligned and the focus motor has broken.
You can then use the broken lens to tinker with.

Err 99, canon rebel 1000d

Usually this error comes up when the golden contacts between the camera body and the lens are dirty or defective. You can try cleaning it with appropriate contacts solution and a microfiber cloth or simply by scrubbing them with an eraser (be careful though not to let fall any gunk or gum dust into the camera). Never touch those contacts directly with your fingers.

Another culprit may be a defective CF card, try a different one and see if something changes.

If this doesn't solve the issue and your camera is still under warranty, i suggest you to have is serviced from canon. When out of warranty solving this issue is going to cost you several hundred dollars.
Let me know if this helped, best luck

Why does it says "busy"

The reason it says 'busy' is because the camera is writing your image to the SD card. Your camera is perfectly fine as-is, but if you'd like to speed up the wait, you can buy a faster SD card.

Hope that helps!

When taking a picture during

This is because your camera can't focus in dark. Your flash is triggering, trying to light up the subject, for the camera to be able to focus. If you focus manually the camera will be able to take a picture with out problems.

You could also light up the place you want to focus with a flash light or something, which will make the camera able to focus.

HI i HAVE A CANON

You need to do two things:
1) Test the card in another device 2) Test a different card in your camera
Most camera shops will let you borrow a card just to test I would think.
