When you say flex cable do you mean ribbon cable? if so you may not be connecting it correctly, [please post a photo of the cable connection and cable type and Ill review it same day and respond with my advice.

I had the very same problem and managed to solve it.
Firstly you will have to take the phone back to the state it was in when you first bought it. This will involve doing a low level reset. This is different to the "Settings/Reset" menu option; This option only resets the "Display", "Ringtone" options etc. it does not take the phone back to Factory Defaults. To do that you need to enter the dark world of the technical support menu. Open you phone and type this number "2945#*#", you will be presented with a technical support menu. From this menu select option 5, "Factory Reset". The phone will then reboot and will be in the state it was when you first purchased it. It is advisable to backup your contact details etc. using the Mobile Sync application before doing the "Factory Reset" as it will delete them all. I took my 2GB external card out beforehand, however I don't think that is necessary.
After the reboot I used the Mobile Sync application to copy back all my contact details etc. and changed the display and ring tones back to my preference. The good news is that it once again recognized my mp3 files on my external drive and my phone memory. It is definitely a bug with the operating system and this appears to be the only fix.

hey dude.. i am facing ur problem 2 well i solve it by luck first step u should turn it off and get out the battery after couple of hours return the battery back and charge it again dont charge the phone more than 2 hours and use it normally DONT MAKE PHONE CALLS AFTER CHARGING IMMEDIATLEY w8 for 1 day and then it wil be fixed ;) if this dont work go to the store and buy a new ****ing battery ;) this phone have money problems ;(

This is many a time a problem with software.

Sometimes battery changd may itself b faulty.

A request for a PUK code ("Personal Unlocking Key") will appear on your phone if your SIM card PIN code is entered 3 consecutive times incorrectly.

Your SIM card will then become "PUKed" or Blocked. This is a security measure to protect your service.

You need to call the Customer Service department of your cell phone provider and they will give you the PUK code which will unblock your SIM card.

PUK codes can be obtained through the following ways - The PUK code is in your SIM card documentation Starter Pack.If you do not have this then -Please contact your phone service provider.
Your cell phone service provider can give you the PUK code once you give themyour account details and they have confirmed your identity.

You can call Orange customer service to obtain the PUK Code.
You can also log onto your Orange account to obtain the code.
The PUK code is a Personal Unblocking Key on the sim card.
The service provider of that sim card know the code.

have you at any time uses the touchpad? or not at all? ofcourse it should be working, you can bring it to the technician of the store where you brought it to fix the touchpad, it is better to see the unit athand to check what the cause.

Take it to the repair shop. My son's KF510 did the same. I await the results of the autopsy!
It started to play up almost straight away when he bought it a month ago. Last night it failed to go past KF510 logo then goes to a low level purple screen. Removing the battery seemed to fix it prior but not now!

From all indication, the problem with your phone is the mouth piece, the mouth piece on your phone is malfunctioning that is why people you call or people that calls you cannot hear you.
All you need to do is to replace the mouth piece of your phone and you will see that after the replacement of the mouth piece, anybody that call you or people you call will hear you clearly.

Just replace the mouth piece as advice and you will see that the problem is solve. meanwhile, you can be using hands free pending the time you will replace the mouth piece.

There is no way of getting the PUK code from the Internet The PUK code is supplied with the documentation that came with the Phone Service Provider's SIM card. If you enter the wrong PUK code more than 3 times the SIM card will be locked out and you will need to purchase a new SIM card.
If you have lost the PUK code only your Phone Service Provider can give you the correct PUK code. Sorry there is no way around this problem, I'm afraid you have no choice but to contact your Phone Service Provider who supplied the SIM card.
