Way 1.
check the Power options in Control Panel by default the 1. Turn off Monitor : After 20Mins. 2. Turn off Hard disks : Never 3. System standby: Never 4. System hibernates : Never
Way 2. May be your system CPU over hight , it may go standby / restart.

Yes the Dell Optiplex 755 desktop uses SATA II connections.

First check num lock status if it is on and off when you press num lock key of keyboard then your cpu gives display to monitor for that when you power up the computer press F8 key then enter in enable vga mode then go to start ->control panel->display->settings.
Change screen resolution to 1024*768 then apply and ok.
But num lock key is constant then open the cpu cabinet and refix RAM memory .Reattch both connection to harddrive.
Pull cmos cell from motherboard for 10 minutes so all settings goes to factory defaults.
Remove pci cards from motherboard if any Reattach VGA card to motherboard.
Open processor fan and processor then reattach both.
Make sure motherboard is not ground with cabinet.
Then check.
If you got display but not boot up then you need to make sure that harddrive is recognized in bios.
For that when you power up press F1 or F2 or "del" key then you can see bios then make sure harddrive is detected then save settings and restart.

If so, you probaly have power saver turned on, access display,or power icon in control/ alter to your needs!

Open the case and look at the little black round things that look like soda cans. Those are called Capacitors. they are kinda like small batteries. They should have a shiny silver top. If they have anything oozing out or if they look like theyve popped like a popcorn kernel, then you have a faulty board. If your pc is under warranty, call dell asap. its an easy repair and its done the next day.

for the CD Drive need to open device manager and check

what brand and model you have for dell used 2 DVD drives
sony and teac

use the correct firmware on drive, if not the drive will be killed.
if unsure open case and look for name/model on sticker of drive

Hi, First make sure your new stick of RAM is being recognized. If you dont get it seated well, it could not really be recognized. Also important is how full your Hard Drive is. This can effect you system speed. Get rid of uneccessary programs and junk files. Also check for background processes and programs that may be using up available memory.

You can download the drivers from Dell WEB site, the support download page. Make sure you select your model laptop, better still, type in the Service Tag number, it is printed on the label on the bottom of the laptop. This will open the page where the specific drivers for your model laptop are located. Also make sure you select the Windows XP or Vista version of the driver for your Windows operating system.

Right click on the little red x and choose "show picture".
If that doesn't work, Outlook is blocking viewing of the picture.

What is the exact error that you are getting? Do you get any blue screens? Have you installed any software recently or made any changes? I can only suggest checking the power cables and trying to use a different cable or spare if you have any for now.

Sounds like your on Google Chrome, this has started popping up since the last update and only on secure webpages at random, try running Windows Update and make sure it's up to date, it check the root certificates which should come with the windows updates.

ok 960 SFF is not the same as MT or the big case MOBO.SFF has its own mobo (motherboards)it has 11x2 row non ATX spec, power . not yours as it has 12x2 some SFF have 2 diffr. moboand a dell custom PSU for just this mobo and its odd duck jack.
