There are at least two AVRs for this generator. The original AVR has the diodes mounted on an external heat sink. The updated AVR has the diodes mounted directly on the circuit board. I have a schematic of the original model with the external diodes but it doesn't have the values or parts on the schematic. I will be more than happy to e-mail you a copy of what I have.

first look at the oil level some generators have a low oil shut off then remove the front cover of the engine and unplug the small wire on the side of the coil then try to start it if you get spark back the its a wire problem if still no spark then the coil is bad
