Try lubricating the belt. My treadmill requires lubricant every now and then. Its not your treadmill but a treadmill is a treadmill. That's what stops the belt from slowing down due to friction. There is no reset button, the only thing you can do is unplug it for 10-20 minutes, if it is going to reset it will, if not you have a hard fault that must be addressed by a qualified repair person.
