Is this O-ring new or used? Would you write back and explain the application? There isn't much you can do with used O-rings that have been exposed to petroleum products. If the O-ring is new and is used in a low pressure water environment. There is a way to shrink the O-ring. A normal rubber O-ring can be cut and super glued back together. I recommend a new razer blade or scalpel. The better the two fases match up, the better the bond. If you need more details, instructions, hints or have other questions. Please feel free in writing back.

  1. Clip the acrylic nails as short as possible.
  2. Pry the edges with the pointy end of the tweezer.
  3. Now, pour acetone free nail polish remover in a bowl.
  4. Soak the nails in the nail polish remover for at least 30-40 minutes.
  5. Once you feel the nail loosened, pull it out gently with tweezers.

Helly Gary..
It is probably going to be in your safety switch where the nails come out. The lever that pushes up when you press the gun on the wood. It should have come with a new one when you purchased it mine did. If not then you may pull the front off off it where the nails come out and make sure there isn't something jammed up in there like a nail or wood. I had to tighten a screw in the front of the gun too. Being 2 years old, it may just be worn out. pending on how much you use it, But check the safety on it first.
