Loose drive belt
Look for problems with your idler pullies, or check tosee if belt is routed between pullies correctly
Oil level rise
Just a few things to check that might help. White smoke is normally caused by a lean running carburetor. Look for two adjustments on the carburetor. The low speed adjustment is a screw about center in the carburetor body. If there are 2 screws, look for a raised letter "L" next to 1 of the screws. Turn this for best run at idle. The high speed adjuster will be on the bottom of the float bowl or the second screw near the first one. Set this one for best run at high speed. High oil in the crank case is harder to detect. Check the crank case breather. It can be anywhere on the crank case. You need to remove a simple, sheet metal cover open at the bottom and normally has 2, 5/16 or 1/4 inch screws holding it on. Under it will be a small, round check valve or a small piece of hog hair. Whatever it is, clean it real well. Sorry this is so brief, its difficult without seeing it.

1. Check battery connections are clean and tight2. Check the battery is FULLY charged, test with a car battery and jump leads to see if engine will start OK.3. If it still won't start then you will need to check the starter solenoid with a voltmeter - this will also tell you if the ignition switch is working OK.4. Still no luck? Then you need to check the starter motor.
It runs for 10 seconds then stops
Sounds like fuel starvation try each of the following, test to see if it runs after each.1. Check you have fuel.2. Check/replace the fuel filter.3. Check the fuel lines.4 Clean the carburettor
Went to start my tractor and found battery is
No, the deck lowers by an entirely mechanical lever on the side with the notches for height adjustment. Most likely the linkage is binding and needs cleaned of grass and possibly rust, then oiled. However that model appears to have an electrical blade engagement system but that isn't relevant because if it is running which it has to be for the blades to turn, then the electrical system has power sufficient to energize the blades.
My model Husqvarna CTH 171 does a great job as a
It sounds like when the unit is under more load it stalls out. It could be that bearings on mower need to be greased or replaced. Or it could be something internal. I would personally check compression with a compression tester. They are fairly cheap and easy to use. They simply thread in spark plug hole, you turn unit over and observe gauge. Probably a good tune up with valve setting checked/adjusted would be a good idea too. I’m happy to assist further over the phone at
