Why would a dryer be leaking water at the bottom?

Can I test the limit switch on my LG TROMM
if it has continuity it's good and isn't the problem,if the dryer starts and stops running after a minute you could have a bad computer board, when it stalls try tapping on the board and see if it starts, also unplug it and look at the board you might see something cooked on it or a soldier joint melted.
How do I clean the interior of a LG DLE3733W Dryer?
Hello Mary;
My name is Peter. I am a retired field service appliance technician.
Both LG & Samsung appliances are a service technicians nightmare. They have the highest service call rate, the most expensive parts and take the most time to access and repair parts. I will give Samsung a thumbs up on televisions and stereo's.
It would be nice if consumer reports would survey field service technicians rather than owners and get the real story.
Believe me you do not want to disassemble. You are going to end up calling a service company to put it back together and get a $250.00-$300.00 bill.
Ok, what can you do? Air flow blows 95% of the lint out the connection to the outside air discharge behind your dryer.
1.) Pull your dryer out to the point that you can get behind it.
2.) Unplug your dryer.
3.) Hot air distribution manifold - There are several screws holding this on. There are no hot electrical components to be concerned with. Remove this.
In the bottom rounded part is where you get plugged up. Clean this out.
4.) Hot air discharge at the wall - Usually, the connector vent hose is held on with band clamps. In this case you need a flat heat screw driver to loosen and remove the vent hose.
5.) With a vacuum cleaner hose, vacuum out the hole in the wall as far as you can reach. Then, vacuum out the air discharge as far as you can reach. The hot air blower wheel in in the front of your dryer.
6.) Before reinstalling the hot air distribution manifold and connecting the out side air duct. Plug your unit in and turn your dryer on and run for 5 minutes to blow out excess lint. The hot air distribution manifold and the outside air duct create a back pressure. This way your blower wheel will run full open.
Lg dryer keeps blowing thermal fuses
check you entire vent system and make sure there is a clear airflow all the way to the outside. A simple test is disconnecting the vent hose and letting the air flow into the open room. If works OK, you definitely have an airflow problem.
Lg dryer fuse keeps blowing but the heating element and thermostat all have continuity
I have been using an LG domestic dryer in a commercial application (motel) for 5 years and the only problem has been a lint build up inside the dryer because of an improper vent installation. The problem is likely in the dryer drum motor, it runs for a short time heats up because of bad motor bearings, improper motor cooling or bad drum bearings (motor drives the drum) increased heat = increased amperage= blown fuse. Motor should go out on overload but it may blow a fuse first. Is the fuse in the electrical panel or in the dryer? Try turning the dryer drum by hand and check for resistance, there shouldn't be much. The motor needs to cool so pull the dryer panels apart and vacuum the inside first and make sure the motor and interior has been thoroughly cleaned. Try this for a quick fix first.
No heat, everything else ok. Cooling light is
It could be the high limit switch is open. Most of these are non resettable and have to be replaced. Check vent piping and filters for lint that may be clogging the vent system and causing the overheating. Replace the high limit. If that does not solve the problem the element may be burned out.
Hope this helps

Short in board or behind. Do not run the dryer. Remove back cover and look for obvious black marks. Replace as necessary. Dryers get banged around and hopefully it is an easy find. It could be the board itself. I'll hope for a small short that can be fixed with electric tape.
