LG Tromm WM2277HW drum was noisy, then wobbly and now has stopped spinning

Remove back cover and check for a loose nut that holds the rotor. you may have to replace the rotor( is the cover that holds the magnets). Not the stator (which is the motor.)

LE error on LG 2277HW

Over-sudsing is the main cause of LE error codes. Using non-HE (high efficiency) detergents or too much detergent will cause stress on the motor. In addition, detergent residue can also cause leaking and odor. Follow these steps to resolved an LE error code caused by over-sudsing.

Step 1: Unplug the washer and allow the unit to sit for 30 minutes to give the suds time to dissolve.

Step 2: Plug the washer back in and press [Power] to turn on the washer.

Step 3: Do not choose a washing cycle. Press the [Spin Speed] key until "No Spin" is selected.

Step 4: Press [Start/Pause] to begin a drain only cycle.

Step 5: After the drain only cycle has completed, remove the clothing items from the machine. Turn the power back on and select [Rinse and Spin] and then press [Start/Pause]. This will remove excess soap suds and light residue from the drum. Repeat this step until no visible suds are in the drum of the washer.

Has a large load size been used with a gentle wash setting?Gentle wash cycles such as Perm Press, Delicates, Hand Wash, and Wool/Silk should only be used for smaller loads. Because the cycles are more gentle while tumbling and spinning, too many items in the drum can register as an issue with the motor. In this instance reset the unit and run a test rinse and spin cycle.Has the washer been overloaded?Single bulky items or large loads can add extra weight to the drum and place stress on the motor. Remove some of the clothing and restart. If the issue is still present after a few items have been removed, unplug the washer for 30 minutes to allow the motor to cool and then restart the cycle.

Lg front loader washing machine has no power

You will need to unplug the washer, remove the 4 screws from the white plastic pieces on the rear of the machine main top, remove the top by sliding to the rear, locate your main computer board in the top left, plug the washer into the wall, check for a small red LED light glowing on the board. You may have to unplug the washer again and remove the cover in front of the computer board to be able to see the light. If there is no red light your main control board is out, but this could have been caused by another failure such as a faulty stator, or rotor on the motor. Sometimes the connecting wiring from the front control panel to the main rear board will become loose and suffer damage against the moving tub. Best to have a qualified repair company check things out. Pleazer Appliance...

In spin cycle violent vibration

First, check to make sure you aren't loading the washer excessively. Many times it is an unbalanced load. Second, check to see if the washer is level. The feet are adjustable and allow you to level the washing machine. While checking the level, make sure the floor underneath is stable as well. Lastly, if these do not help, you may need to have the dampners checked (these are like shock absorbers and minimize the vibration of the drum).

What about it? Just take the manifold off and fix it. A chisel is the usual tool for taking one out, and replacements are available that tighten with a center bolt.

OE is normally down to blocked drain pipes, mcalpine (connection under the sink) or a blocked front filter. empty the machine and unscrew the filter behind the flap at the bottom right hand side, check for any obstructions, icoins, hair grips etc are normally blocking here

LG Washer/Dryer Combo not spinning

If you can make the motor spin a few revolution by manual intervention, then the issue is most likely a faulty motor 'start' capacitor which is located near the motor: this replacement involves a dangerous MAIN AC VOLTAGE device and I would advice getting a qualified technician to check/repair your dryer. Hope it helps.

LE error (checked stator and replaced HAll sensor already)

If the control board does not receive the input it will not operate does the door lock? However: The attachment shows how to diagnose and repair a failed hall sensor, the usual cause of an LE error code. DO NOT replace the stator until the hall sensor has been tested. 98% of LE error codes are caused by failed hall sensors. [DD motor SVC check process ] Pre Check 1) Gentle wash cycles, such as Perm Press, Delicates, Hand Wash, and Wool/Silk should only be used for smaller loads. Because these cycles are more gentle in tumbling and spinning, putting too much in the drum can register an issue with the motor. Remove items, reset unit and test with a Rinse/Spin cycle. 2) Don't replace the PCB when the hall sensor is replaced. Check the hall sensor as shown in the new process. O have a file I can send but can not upload here if you want it, contact me [email protected] please put hall sensor in subject line. Thanks

Check the water inlet valve as this is a common problem when the machine requires water and the valve is not opening. The main control panel may also be faulty. Check also the door lock switch by pressing against the door at the latch area when the machine stops midway.

Dispenser assembly is covered with black sludge.

The "black sludge" is a build up of algae and also washing powder and fabric softener. Remove the dispenser by pressing the small panel in the rear of the middle compartment. Clean out the sludge and also the compartment that houses the dispenser. It is good to run a short program on the machine adding a cup of vinegar to the dispenser. Alternately use bleach.

Remove the drain hose that connects the tub with the drain pump and check whether some small item of clothing is not stuck inside, also check the drain hose that leads out from the drain pump for clogging. You might need to remove it in order to check for blockages.
