The LG error code OE simply means "the pump is blocked". Presumably the water isn't being emptied properly. As with all error codes it is possible that there is a cause other than the exact description in the error code explanation but basically this error means as far as the washing machine is concerned it thinks the water isn't pumping out. A pump, or filter blockage is the most common cause but it could be caused by other faults such as a faulty pump, or even a blockage in the drain hose or somewhere else in the system etc.

The new dispenser assembly should work as designed. The problem is not likely in the dispenser assembly itself but rather with the leveling of the machine. It sounds like the machine is slightly leaning forward as the original dispenser assembly with broken locking tab slides out easily spilling the contents. It should slide put easily when the machine is level.

Since the bleach dispenser port on the new assembly is positioned at the rear of the compartment, a slight leaning of the machine forward causes the water level at the rear of the compartment to be shallower and eventually do not dispense through the port.

Make sure the machine is level and not leaning forward and the ports both on the cap and dispenser fit together perfectly. Use a leveling tool to level the machine. You may perform a bench test by placing the two dispenser assemblies on a level surface then slowly pour water on the bleach compartments until they are full. Water should start dispensing through the ports when it reaches the level of the dispenser port.

Hi dear.According to your explanation,your machine's pump located lower left hand side of the machine.Open the lid & pull out drain plug,remove the remaining water inside the tub.Turn the filter anticlock wise to take it out,check for any obstacle,if any try to clean up.Please keep in mind.Your machine's got 2 pumps.Left hand one for drain & right hand one for recirculation. Make sure both one works fine.Also check for any kinked part of drain hose.I hope that helps.Thanks.

Thanks for using FixYa. OE is a Drain Error which indicates that the water was not fully drained within 10 minutes. To start with check the drain pump filter for any clogs/foreign materials and try to clean the filter. Also if you have already checked the drain hose for any blockage then check the pump for any blockages, if still its not resolved then it seems to be the pump that has gone bad. probably a defective motor hall sensor. will require dissassembly of motor via rear panel of machine. you will need a #17 socket and breaker bar to remove rotor nut. also, you will then need a #10 socket and driver to remove motor stator. sensor will be underneath attached to stator.

try taking off the hot water hose(from the wall) and make sure the hose has no obstructions. My did the same thing,after I cleaned it out it worked fine.

Hi, code LE is a locked motor Error and it is caused by:

• The connector (3-pin, male, white) in the MOTOR
HARNESS is not connected to the connector
(3-pin, female, white) of STATOR ASSEMBLY.
• The electric contact between the connectors
(3-pin, male, white) in the MOTOR HARNESS
and 4-pin, female, white connector in the MAIN PWB
ASSEMBLY is bad or unstable.
• The MOTOR HARNESS between the STATOR
ASSEMBLY and MAIN PWB ASSEMBLY is cut (open
circuited).
• The hall sensor is out of order/defective.

The washer only uses 1 gallon of water to wash clothes. You go putting in more than a teaspoon of detergent in there then you is gonna get a sud lock situation. You must use low sudsing HE stuff very sparringly. The washer will detect oversudsing and dump extra cold water in there to try and resolve it. An OE error means it took longer than 10 minutes to pump out the water. 2 things these washers hate is too much detergent and clogged filter/pump.

detach the main flow hose leading from the drum whaen you find the pump see if it turns freely if not replace if so it may still be burnt out have a look at some of my past post about block etc

Front loaders are known for building up mold and the smell and this may also cause a cleaning problem.
It’s caused by using liquid detergent which is made from animal fat. Use powder. And use the minimum amount.
It’s caused by using fabric softener. Dilute it 50/50 with water.
It’s caused by the water remaining in the tub between washes. make sure all the water is pumped out between wash and rinse. Leave the door open between washes. to allow it to dry. .
Pull the rubber door seal back and clean the mold off .
Affresh is recommended by some manufacturers. You run it through a wash cycle with it. Post your model number and I'll look for filters etc.

If water runs in when the machine is OFF but stops when the tap is turned off it means a faulty watervalve.replace water valve. Probably a double valve. Dont mix up the hoses or the wires........Nomess

"de" means door is open you have to close the door titly then press the start bottom or check door switch if its out of order or not with digital multi meter.

Handyman here-

Could be anything... First off I would check the gasket for splits, tears and breakage. As the clothes are washed, it could splash water out that normally would not get out.
