Yes , It can be related to the control board, but first of all please make sure that there is good water flows in both the inlets, check the flow after the valve , ensure that the inlet filters are not clogged and check all the connections from the harness to the valve and panel

If it spins empty i'd check drive belt (if it has one) or motor. If it just won't spin i'd check the drain hose between tub and drain pump for debris. If no debris i'd check door switch.

The main switch probably needs replaced. It has its own separate motor, but if the machine goes through the earlier cycles it needs the switch. murf427

hi there, this could be one of two problems 1, you have a block in the waste pipe or pump? or 2, your drain pump has packed in and may need replacing?however if memory serves me right there is an emergency drain tube on LG machines, it should be located behind the bottom pannel on the front of the machine and from there you should be able to release the water from the machine. hope this helps!

An nP display code indicates that there is a problem with the electrical wiring in the home and that no current is being detected at the heater.

This has a new fangled direct drive motor. Normally the fix would be to replace the motor controller or one of the capacitors on the board, but this has none of those, and appears to be run by one control board and that is no longer available. Try cleaning the connectors to the control board with electrical switch cleaner spray.
