ITunes doesn't recognize iPhone 5s

Sorry to hear that. Have you tried to quit iTunes on your computer and restart the computer? Also, do quit all apps and turn the phone off and on again sometimes helps clearing "gruff" building up in the system... If this don't help, it could well be the phone's cable connection to the computer. To be honest, these cables are not very good, and are easily damaged, and iTunes not responding could be a cable problem, even if it charges the phone. Try another cable.

My husband passed away. 7/11/14 I want to cancel his itunes account. It is on auto draft. Please help I cannot afford this and don't use it.

Hello there Sue Ann. May your husband rest in peace. I am not familiar with "auto draft", but I have had iTunes for many years. I first suggest trying to contact Apple, first at the Financial Transactions number, which is 1-877-414-6364. If they cannot help you, they may at least direct you to the correct source. If you hit a wall there, try the Apple Store at 1-800-692-7753. A third option is the Technical Support number, at 1-800-275-2273. I believe any one of these might give you some direction to follow. Also, if you are allowed to edit your question, in the interest of privacy and security, not to mention your peace of mind, I suggest removing you and your husband's full name, birthdate and email address from your post at your earliest convenience. I wish you all the very best at this difficult time.
