Try cleaning the copper strip that runs up the front of the cartridge (not the bottom) use a paper towel and some windex and wipe it off. if that does not work the cartridge may be shot. It does happen randomly or can be causedf by a power surge.

Before printing, configure the page setup on the application where you're printing from. Go to File -> Page Setup -> select Landscape orientation -> hit OK to save the setting.
To print your sketch, go to File -> Print -> Preferences/Properties -> from the Page Setup tab, select Landscape orientation -> from the Print Layout tab, select Borderless -> click OK to save the settings -> click OK to start printing.

If you got the installation CD insert it in the CD drive and follow the instructions.If not go to Lexmark - United States and select your printer model and your OS.After download it open the download file and follow.
First try to clean the gold contact points inside the printer, where the cartridge identification chip comes into the contact with the printer. this is located inside the cartrige slots. If that doesnt work check that the correct colours are being inserted into the correct slots. If you are using un-original cartridges or cartridges that have been refilled they may be incompatible or have been damaged through refilling, you must purchase original lexmark cartridges.

All printer are the same ways to refill the inks up go to this website it will show you how it done there is a few Videos there for you to see how it done
But must tell you it not allways work with Lexmark rifills.

You need to lift up on the top part of the printer and the print carts are under the lid at the top of the printer. You can always visit www.lexmark.com for you manual on how to install print carts.
