I don't know what to do. I was just using my camera as normal then I turned it off and when I tried to turn it back on it would not turn on, and I realised the lenz was stuck out. The small green light would flash everytime I tried to turn it on. It still will not turn on to this day. I had tried taking the batteries out and putting them back in, but the same thing happened, I tried pluging it into the computer, still doesn't work. Please help!?
Yes you are correct lens is struck
* Carefully inspect around it for dirt or debris
* If you see any dirt or debris around the lens, use canned air to gently blow it away
* After removing dirt and debris, turn the camera on and off
This should work
Hope this helps .
If your problem still continues you need to take to service center .

When I go to turn the camera on, it powers up, the shutter pops out, it beeps a couple of times, the shutter returns and it then turns itself off. Any ideas or solutions would be greatly appreciated. Please note: the batteries have been changed a few times to ensure it was not a battery problem loads of people have this problem but i cant find anyyyyy solution !! :@
it may be a lens error. mine does that all the time. make sure you remove the batteries or make sure it can't turn on while it is in a jam packed place like a purse or the case for it because the lens could get jammed. it sounds like that's what your problem is.

When I press the on/off button, the light flashes several times, but nothing else happens. I've changed the batteries. Before this, it would take some pics, then turn itself off.
Any help or advice is appreciated! Thanks, in advance.
try a new battery

My buddy jamed the lens on my S760 because he was mad, and now the camera won't turn on, it just blinks the green light. did my buddy destroy it or is there a chance.
If it's a lens problem, there's a halfway chance of fixing it yourself, described here: http://camerarepair.blogspot.com/2007/12/fixing-lens-error-on-digital-camera.html

Why is my samsung S760 wont turn on,the green light keeps flashing.
Replace the battery's or fully charge the Ni-cad.. IF you have done this, Do you have a "Flash card or Data card? You might have to Format it.. A bad Data card will give the camera an Error, and won't turn on.. IF you have Pictures on your card Some people Can Read the bad Data and still get the pics off... If you dont care about whats on the card just Format it in a computer that has a port to insert the card... Good luck.. P.S. some camera's have a second set of "Memory" battery's, the ones that keep the date and stuff in order.. You might want to change them, They are "Button" batterys looks like the ones for a watch.. Should be 3 of them. Right next to the AA's or AAA's main batterys . Enjoy... BCB
