Bad capacitors on power supply inside the TV.

Cracking and or a crackling sound is indicative of a short , i suggest that you take it to a service center before it does more damage and possibly blows out completely .

Sounds like a circuit board problem , it goes on and off several times before staying on . It stays on after it warms up and makes a full contact . i would suggest calling samsung support . or take it to a reputable service agent . You did not say if it is still under warranty .

go to menu and click on audio , check your settings .

You can select the option at its sound menu. Get it, and select 'External speakers' which in turn switch off the internal speaker, and bypass the signal to the external speaker. Depending on how long it has been used. Many a times the problem is caused with DJs or simply dry joints what I normally do is open the panel in a clean environment then switch it on make sure the picture is on then with the back of a screw driver tap gently on the ddc card if you see pictures coming back to normal and off again you have your culprit go ahead and solder carefully the dry joints on the ddc card ddc stands for data display channel

without a standby error code or maintenance mode fault detection code, it's hard to say. if you are looking for possibilities, then start with targeting the Ysus board as a possible culprit along with the Zboard buffers. the band would lead me to think buffers are having issues.

What is the issue with the TV? A defective T-Con board symptoms are half screen image and strange colors. Often lines in the screen are not the T-Con, but a bad LCD panel. A good supplier of Samsung parts is Tri-State Module. You can ask their technicians for advice as well. Good luck.

Have the LVDS cable checked!!!

Check the LVDS cable !!! It is the cable that supplies the video signal from the main board to the LCD controller. If wiggling the cable clears up the problem or invokes the problem, you need a new LVDS cable!
