Toto Drake ADA Compliant Toilet with Elongated Bowl Questions & Answers
Delay on tank fill after flush. Toto Drake bowl ada elongatred
I am not a plumber but stumbled across the solution on my own. While watching the float during the flush cycle, it was obvious that it was very slow in moving downward along with the water level in the tank. The problem was that the small opening in the float chamber was partially clogged. Using just my fingers, I reached under the float chamber and cleaned off any debris that was blocking the opening underneath the float chamber. Put the float back on, and instantly the problem was solved. The tank fill started immediately after I flushed.
The gmax continues to run and won/t stop
if it worked fine and now it has stopped....then there is no adjustment that will fix it. If the fill valve is not shutting off you either need to replace the seal in the valve or get a new fill valve. If the water is leaking past the flapper you will need a new flapper.
Toto toilet won't flush
Replace the assembly. This is common in areas with high mineral content in water. You will be glad you did. Delay too long, you may find your toilet running while you are at work .
The toilet tank does not refill automatically
Just replace the whole assembly. It only costs 12-15 dollars. Water contains so many minerals that just clog up lines like cholesterol. Just be done with it. It is not worth the effort to try to clean all that out . Plastic is sometimes not very forgiving.
Toto toilet with gmax flushing system blue top
I have the same problem and can not find a solution. The toilet flushes fine but then a delay in filling up the tank occurs. Is there a part I can replace? Does something need to be cleaned or cleared?

Make sure the fill tube in the tank from the fill valve is in the overflow tibe inside tank. The tube allows bowl to fill with water to correct level.
Noisy whine at the termination
Sounds like the little shutoff plunger or washer is loose. May be a bit worn out too.
Before you do anything else, I'd suggest you check and make sure the float is travelling freely righ up to the top.
If there is an adjustment for how high the float must travel, turn the screw clockwise one turn or less. This will shut the water off a fraction earlier.
The toilet makes a very loud, high pitched noise when flushed.
I recently had the same problem. to let you know I replaced the filler
and the flapper to NO avail.
I tried flushing with the water OFF and it still did it thought it was
in the siphon so I removed the water going in there and it still made
the sound.
This AM it got to me so I was determined to be rid of the WHINE
It only happens when the TOP is on that is when it hit me is the
seal so great that the vacuum creates the whine I put the little
rubber door stops, the one you use in door jams, on the four side and
tada no more sound Hope this helps
Toto toilet is constantly running, even though the tank is full
it sounds like it might be the floater ball in the toilet you can adjust the tension on it usually with a screwdriver.... if you look from the top down you should see a screw on the top of the arm that holds the floater adjust the tension and hopefully this will work
My toto drake which has the g-max valve make a
I had the same problem and solved it. You need to replace the valve with a Korky 528t replacement valve, which is very quiet. The gmax valve is inherently squeaky and there is no fixing it. You can get the 528t on the internet as it is unusual to find it in a store (don't get the 528 which won't work properly on toto). Also you must use the replacement overflow tube that is packaged with the 528t. The original tube is too narrow and the bowl won't fill properly. The replacement takes 10 minutes.

Check for a lose inner tank mounting, and check for all fittings to be tight, those two things can cause the noise. Also make sure water vale is fully open.

Water Level Adjustment
1. To adjust, simply turn upper half of valve counter-clockwise to unlock, pull up till water line on valve is level with water line marked in tank, Fig.C then turn clockwise till valve snaps into locked position.
2. Turn on water supply to fill tank.
3. Tamper proof key is optional, and may be used to simply to prevent further adjustment once final setting is achieved. Fig D
