You definitely have a carburetor problem.
If your carburetor has sat for a few months with fuel in it,
the fuel may have gone bad. Fuel turns to turpentine after a while and
leaves light yellow deposits behind. These deposits will keep your carb.
from working properly. You need to dip the carb. in carburetor dip for a
few hours to get rid of the deposits. You can also take the carb. to
your local parts store where they may do it for free.
You
may also have to replace the gasket and needle valve too if it has been
sitting. So basically, you need to do a carburetor rebuild. If the float sounds like it has liquid in it, you will need to replace it too.
Good Luck!
