Oil too full, PCV valve bad, Extreme engine damage leaving intake valves open and piston pushing oil out

my only guess is it came off and Idler pulley or drive pulley

if the trany is locked up u will have to remove the trany most the time its the needle bearings on the input shaft there 10-15$ each takes 2 but trany has to come aparts they are fairly easy to open n fix them

Does the lever have any resistance?

The model number needs posting so we can look up the transmission. This number is under the seat and should start with 917.

first make sure left and right sides are same height. Next, adjust front and back heights per users manual. If still off, make sure you dont have a bent blade or bent or missing front or rear deck link.

Probably a safety switch gone bad. Check the battery a functional yet weak battery will cause many weird electrical issues even if it has the juice to run the motor it can lack signal to smaller components making you scratch your head in confusion. That's a simple fix worth a try. If not that then check grounds, fuses, safety switches, wire condition and connections.

Could be a safety switch but it sounds like a bearing or shaft is seized up due to the accident. First thing I would do is to remove deck belt and try to spin each blade separately by hand. By isolating each one, spinning one at a time you will be able to tell if your problem lies in the deck. If you have one that wont move the spindle assembly will need to be replaced. You may want to take a picture or sketch a diagram of belt routing before you remove deck belt to assist in reinstalling the belt when your done. Also, remember to do this with engine off. Cutting attachment turned off, brake pedal depressed? These are interlocks and must be happy before cranking is possible. Is this machine new to you?? or is it a new problem this spring?

There a plug on top of transaxle.

if this is a 6 speed or anything but hydro be sure its in nuetralif it has nt been moved in awhile be sure belts arent stuck to pulleys

if the hood does not have provision for a catcher connection , then it is something you will have to devise how to do if it has the connections then get the catcher and connect it up

Need the engine numbers to better diagnosis the problem but most likely the carburetor needs a good ultrasonic cleaning and rebuild.

Take off fuel line at the carb. to start with. You have lots of fuel.

There should be a decal on the deck with the diagram. To change, first remove belt from engine pulley.(front pulley under emgine) and go from there.

Go to youtube and on the line adjust valves on 18.5 hp tractor.

Sounds like a faulty seat micro switch, first make sure the connector block is fully pushed onto the seat switch as this will also act like this.
