Selector knob spins, no clicks,
1. Check to assure that the ******** handle is fully depressed into
the ******** base. If not fully depressed, the locking mechanism
will not be released and may be keeping the adjustment knobs
from rotating.
2. Check to see if any weight plates have been put into the base
assembly backwards with the "support ******" facing the grip of
the ******** handle. All weight plates must have the selection
****** facing away from the grip of the ******** handle.
3. Check to see if there is any dirt, debris or other obstruction in the
******** base. You may need to remove the weight plates from
the base to accomplish this check. Remember to put each weight
plate back in its appropriate location with the selection ******
facing away from the ******** grip.

Once the dumbell is on
Try setting the handle in the plates back onto the carrier(bottom). Lightly tap on each plate that is stuck. Now push the plates down (vertically) onto the bottom carrier. Now try turning the dial (side that was stuck). It worked for me. Have my 1090 plates were stuck on the handle. Good luck

A small srew has fallen
I am not the person to give you advice on fixing your ******** yourself but I did want to give you a link where you can look at a
Bowflex SelectTech diagram in case that helps you think about taking it apart or putting it together. You can zoom in to view all the different parts. (If that's not the right one here is
version 2). They also have individual parts for sale which may be better than buying a whole new one.

Hello sba.... take the base (4 screws) off and remove the two metal brackets that are held on with two screws on the side that is stuck. Spin it so that you can see the button that releases the adjuster. Then reassemble. Joe

Have boweflex selecttech dumbbells and one set
Either the handle is broke or try making sure all the weights are facing right way (same way) or the handle will not sit all the way down. It needs to sit all the way down for the button on the bottom of the handle to be pushed to release the adjuster to be able to spin and grab weights.

Weight wheel moved from 25 to 30 while outside of
Push button under on the bottom of the handle to release the adjuster. If it was moved while out of the little stand it may be damaged or not working well. If it was a fluke, just push the button take all the weights off both sides and start over on 5. That button should normally only be depressed when the handle is seated in the stand.

When selecting a weight the
This generally happens when you match a larger weight
on one side with a smaller weight on the other side of the ********,
and usually can be fixed by just equaling out the weight and trying it
again. Or remove the Dumbbells from the base and remove the plates from the base until
the base was completely emptied. Then, with the emptied base, place the Dumbbells back within the base (without remaining plates on the floor). You
should be able to switch the dials back to 10 lbs with plates from the Dumbbells coming off. Then simply place back all the plates within the base
and place the DB back within the base with the plates ready to go. The
Dumbbells should pick the plates right back up.

One of the weight disks slipped and will not lock
place the weights back on the stand and make sure that all the weight plates are facing outward. you can verify this by looking at the bottom of the disks there are small little square protruding out make sure they face away from the handle. if they dont lock into place after this then someone in the valves must be broken. good luck!
