Hello, it sounds like one of the cooling fans has stopped in it, sometimes the get clogged up with dust so bad they can't turn causing the set to go into shutdown or a fan has gone bad. try cleaning the fans, bur DO NOT USE CANNED OR COMPRESSED AIR!, use a vacuum and a small paint brush to clean them out. The other thing is listen for a squealing sound, if the color wheel is going bad the usually squeal a bit, but if the picture is normal looking for the time it's on, that shouldn't be the problem.....tks

Fault with the main power supply regulator board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. Hello more than likely the lamp has gone bad. On that set you have to remove the back cover to check the lamp to see if it has broken. the picture gives you an idea and some instructions on how to change it. tks

Being that your TV is only two years old,it is very possible that you may have one or more of the following,VGA,SVIDEO or HDMI..If you have one of the following you can connect to your computer(HDMI IS YOUR BEST OPTION IF AVAILABLE)

I currently have this problem also. However my TV is blinking 6 times fast and then 5 times slowly. I was told by a TV repairman that it was in fact the bulb or lamp. I plan to replace it, soon, I will keep you posted hopfully it works.
