Inside the master disposal box is a black pressure plate. It cannot see the home position sensor. Remove it and check where the flag is for that plate. When properly repositioned it will operate again. Also, master sure that the disposal box set sensor is not popped out of its mount.

Hi I found driver downloads and a user guide here Gestetner Downloads by using the multifunction machine drop down menu to select your model and click on it. This took me to a page with the manual & user guide links but also a link to a handy "How to install Downloads" page on the right hand side. Unplug machine. Remove connectors to the hard drive. Does it boot up now? Yes, then replace the hard drive. No? Then the controller board is defective.

Needs the web to be replaced.

Dirty optics or needs new drum units.

Paper table is not moving. Check wire harness.

Bad thermal head. Very expensive.....

Replace the clamper assembly.

Reset the master cutter. If it continues replace it. Very easy to replace.

This is a cutter error. Check the following.

Open the side the master is loaded. Check that the cutter is in the home possition and that there is no used master stuck in the machine. Check the motor by entering sp mode

Function clear "107" press and hold C/clear

"131" #

"23" Start key

will return cutter to home position.

Press funtion clear to exit.

If the motor is not running you will have to replace it.
