Check if the fusing unit is correctly set. 2. Check or replace the actuator for fusing belt sensor. 3. Replace the fusing belt sensor. 4. Replace the IH inverter. 5. Check the connection between IH inverter and IOB.

On the display the message came up to call for service with the code SC546what can I do to fix it myself. the machine is not working for printing. machine is ricoh modle SDm645

Home position sensor for the mirror carriage assembly does sense movement. When the copier is turned on does the mirror assembly move (under the glass)? If it does then clean the home position sensor. If cleaning it does not remedy it then it is a circuit board problem. If the mirror assembly does not move the problem is mechanical or a bad motor or related circuit board.

i got a strait black thin line on left marging of paper. i think margin setting of my Gestetner 2822 has been changed. but i don't know how to fix this problem. (107-C, ???)

There is several post here that you could see. But i will post again the solution.
You have a bad reading of the temperature of the fuser unit.
You need to reset the code.
For that try this:
Press yellow key
On the key pad press 1-0-7
Old down the red key at least 3 sec.
Enter the service mode. For that on the touch screen press "copy SP".
Exit all the way out.
Turn the machine off/on.

If you already did that and doesn't work probably you have a thermistor or a thermostat broken.
If you do not have technical training i advise you to call your provider.

SC548 is fuser belt rotation error, check the 2 sensors on the left hand side of the copier (as you look at where the fuser is located). These get knocked & moved out of postion, I think they have been modified, but I don't have the part number, sorry. Allso check the firmware is up to date.

The machine cannot detect the fusing.
Fusing unit is not installed. Try to put the fuser in the place.

there is no codes for this just driver in your pc benfits in choosing tray what yo want to print yo can choose any try to print from just click propertise in identification and yo will see print prefences yo will see all trays choose any one

check you have the correct port set up in the printer properties.. the default is usually parrallel or usb if connected with network cable open the printers faxes page on your computer and right click on your printer open the ports tab and check if it is set to TCIP you will have to enter the ip address here. you can get this by going to the copier press the 123 button at top left then press for printer and print the config page..hope this helps A

you will need to download the driver and save to a folder on your computer. if you go to Ricoh.co.uk at the top bar you will find a tab or downloads then look at right hand tab for network drivers and click here it will take you to another page select your copier here and it will take you to an external site then you can choose your operating system and download to a folder.. go to add printer on the desktop of your computer and when it asks for disk press have disk and search to desktop folder click and it should run from there. you may have to open the zip file before running the add printer and save it to the same folder

this machine has developer which needs to be installed and initialized (2-801)&(2-805)drum (3-001-2)

Are you trying to install an ethernet or "NIC" card in order to turn the machine into a printer? If so then you need more than a nic card. You would also need a ROM chip, Print controller, Hard Disk Drive and the buttons for the control panel.
If you are just replacing a NIC and expanding the memory then that is possible but the instructions to do so would be more than could be typed up here.

Does you machine currently have the print option and the NIC has just gone bad or are you wanting to add print?
If your NIC is bad keep in mind this machine is the same as Ricoh 2045 or a Savin 4045. You will need to pay close attention to whether you have a 645SP or a 645ESP. The Print Controllers/NIC's are different for the E series.
Just search Ebay or Google for the Ricoh/Savin models and you cand find them. I just bought and installed one from Ebay for a customer last month($200).
If you don't currently have print then you need more than just the NIC card. You will need the Hard Drive, Controller, Chip, and control panel buttons.

this is not simple or easy. go to user tools.go to system settings. go to address book management. add new user. add code. allow which options to be used. hit ok to store.
