Samsung MW4699S Microwave Oven Questions & Answers
How to set temperature in
They're totally non-interchangeable as they're two totally different ways of cooking.
There is no correlation at all between a temperature setting used by electric and fan ovens and the microwave power level, there's not even a rule of thumb. For microwave cooking, the fat, sugar and water content of any given food item as well as the mass and shape are what determine cooking times and microwave power levels, and not all foods can be safely microwaved as high fat/sugar content foods may catch fire.
Doesn't heat
Hi,
If the food is not being heated you will need to have the oven checked by a service center technician.
Your oven has a device called a magnetron which generates microwaves which heat the food.
It could be the magnetron itself which is faulty or another component which works alongside the magnetron.
Best wishes,
Graemevm
Does not heat, everything else works
The most likely cause of this issue is that the magnatron has gone bad, that is the part that creates the microwaves. They are widely available at part supplies and are reletively easy to replace. The question is whether or not you want to spend the money for parts or get a new unit. Just looked for the part and It is unavailable, discontinued! You can probably find one but you will pay around $100.00 for the part, more for labor than the unit is worth!
Stuck on demo and cild
My Samsung did this as well. Unplug for at least two minutes and plug back in. Press the clock button twice. Set the time and press clock button once more. Doesn't have to be correct time, any time will do as you can go back and set correct time later. After pressing clock it should be out of demo mode. Try 1 second on high cooking. This should take care of the problem.
I have samsung microwave model MW830WA 120V
I know on my samsung it's right on top when you take off the outer cover. I also have an emerson and it's on the right side behind the control panel There is a white plastic cover over the fuse that just snaps apart.. I buy my fuses at radio shack. I know mine takes a 20 amp 250 volt.
How to set temperature
hi friend,
The microwave oven per se, does not have a temperature. The microwaves that are generated simply heat up the water molecules in the item that they hit. So, the maximum temperature, I guess, would be 100 degrees C or 212 degrees F, the boiling point of water.
thank u for using fixya

Samsung microwave oven model #ME21K7010DS/AA
Judging from reviews of this model on Samsung's website, this is a common problem. Does it happen during or after using the cooktop or range below the microwave oven? In particular, is it most common when using the burner directly under the microwave oven control panel?
If the issues are correlated to heat or humidity from cooking on the range top, I would suspect problems with moisture in the keypad circuitry. I would consider cleaning the controller board key panel connector area with 90%+ isopropyl alcohol (this is an internal service on a circuit board that is most likely susceptible to damage by static electricity, so it should be done by someone who knows how to service electronics). This should remove contaminants that could cause current leakage between keypad connections (spurious keypad entries) in humid conditions. Let the board dry thoroughly before reconnecting.
It's also possible that moisture is getting into the keypad assembly. This would be a design/manufacturing flaw. I would guess the oven is out of warranty, so the fix would be to put the keypad in a dessicator for a day or so, then seal the edges with RTV Blue or a similar caulk that does not release acetic acid (vinegar) during the curing process. (Acetic acid even in vapor form may corrode the silver contact material in the keypad.) Do not seal the connector, just the edges of the flex ribbon layers where moisture can get into the key membranes.
In the meantime, always use the microwave oven fan when cooking on the range. This will help to keep the controller cool and dry. (Samsung's troubleshooting guide says the fan will turn on automatically if the microwave oven gets too warm from cooking underneath it.)

Hi i have Samsung Model GE0103MB microwave and i took it for repairs and the bottom switch is not engaging
It sounds like you are having difficulty with the bottom switch on your Samsung Model GE0103MB microwave not engaging with the door release button. This can prevent the microwave from functioning properly and could be caused by a few different issues:
- Make sure that the switch is properly connected to the door release button. The switch may have been installed incorrectly during the repair process, which could prevent it from engaging properly.
- Check the door release button to ensure that it is not damaged or malfunctioning. The door release button could be preventing the switch from engaging properly.
- Check the wiring connections to the switch and door release button to ensure that they are secure and not damaged.
- If you are having difficulty assembling the microwave, I suggest you to try and get the service manual or a diagram of the assembly process for your specific model GE0103MB. You can try searching for it online or contacting Samsung customer service, as they may be able to provide you with the information you need.
- If the problem persists, you may want to contact a qualified technician to service the microwave and inspect the door switch and door release button.
It's important to note that working on a microwave oven can be dangerous and should only be attempted by someone who is familiar with the inner workings of the device, and have the proper tools and equipment.
