So my neighbor had an issue connecting her kindle fire with CCS and Facebook. It kept saying cannot connect to the kingdom. So what I did was uninstall the app from her kindle and then went under settings for the kindle. Then I clicked device and clicked allow installation of applications and turn it on. Then go the website appsroid.com and click on CCS. It will take you to another page and there will be a click button for download for android click it. After 30 secs it will show at the bottom start download and once it gets done go to the downloaded section and click on it. It will give you the option to install it so install it. Finally go to the app section on the kindle and instead of the cloud area click on device. There you will find it and once that gets done click on it to load it. Finally click connect to facebook and that's all there is too it. I know that's a lot to take in so take it one step at a time.

Press and hold the power button. If it prompts to shut down, ignore it and keep holding the button. It should turn off after fifteen seconds or so. Release the button, then press and hold for two seconds or so. It should start up and reboot. Does it?

what message do you get when you try to connect to the wi-fi?

among the icons on the main page do you see something that looks like a gear? tap to see list of settings. Go to second set of icons to change info. At bottom of second set is circle with lines in it. This is keyboards and languages, tap. top of list is languages, tap and then tap small arrow on right of device. This brings up list of languages to choose from. 3rd down should be English US, 2nd is English for England. Of course I'm using info for Kindle Fire 7. Yours may be laid out differently. Problem could be with your wi fi transmitter or the receiver in your device. Use another known working device and see what happens so you can localize the source of the anomaly.

Also try a different charging block and a different out to plug into, try one thing at a time some if it works you will know which was the problem. You can try resetting it to factory as if you were going to sell it. Sometimes they lose software and this will replace it. If that does not work it could be in the charger port itself.

John, Is it on a particular Wifi Connection? Are you able to connect to other Wifi? Or other devices works fine on this particular Wifi Connection? Go to Settings < Wi-Fi < Click/Tap on the Wi-Fi Network and Choose Forget Enter the Password again and make new Connections. It May help.
