Contact Your icloud Account

Take it to the Apple store. They'll give you information of a local place that'll fix it for you. If you have a 2 year contract they may offer a low fee to fix it or even replace it for a new model as an upgrade.

The lock with a circle around it means you have locked the screen rotation. This means when you rotate the device, the screen will not rotate. You need to check network settings. Probable they were changed.

Go into settings, then notifications, then messages, then allow notifications, then pick the tone you want

Try switching it off correctly using top button and slide to turn off then switch back on after few minutes. If that doesn't work press top button and home button simultaneously til Apple icon appears (5-10secs)

password or passcode? if it's password there's several how to's on utube but I didnt want to jailbreak mine as it was legitimately bought from someone who'd received it from a friend who upgraded. I went to icloud in settings and got their account name then sent them an email requesting they turn off find my iphone5 which they can do from any apple product that supports that function. u should then be able to delete that account. factory passcode is 0000
