You become a Level 1 Expert by getting at least one point. You become a Level 2 Expert with one hundred points, and a Level 3 Expert with one thousand points.

If you want to add or change your full name, please do the following:
1. Sign in to your FixYa account
2. Click your Avatar on the top right and select "My Account"
3. Click on "My Settings" tab
4. Enter your chosen name in the Full Name field
5. Scroll down and click "Save My Information"

This will change your name on the site retroactively and on all your future posts.

Not directly. They used to have a "marketplace" where people could pay to get solutions from qualified experts, but that system flopped miserably. They also used to have a points store where you could "buy" things with the points you get from answering questions, but that too is gone. Just connect your memory stick to your computer and then browse into the files on the memory stick and copy them to your computer and then you can delete the photos from the memory stick.

There isn't anything to uninstall, as FixYa doesn't install anything on your computer. To sign out, click on user name near the upper right corner, then click on "Sign Out."

As of today, premium questions are no longer available on Fixya and you cannot apply. Premium services were offered in the past, but Fixya moved to an all free modal some time ago.

You cannot change your username on Fixya. You can update your full name which is the name displayed across the website.

Visit the my profile page and scroll down the my account section. Update your name and click the save my information button. You name will then be updated across the website.
